First of all, I want to start off my saying that I love this product. I had an IPOD video MP3 player before, but I like this one much better. The touch screen is much easier to use than the old buttons and menus on the regular IPOD. It's basically the same thing as an IPhone, except there is no cell phone component with it. I use it to check my email with the built-in wi-fi connection, play games, download video, and of course to listen to music. There are a wide variety of games that can be downloaded. Some are free, and some cost a few dollars to download. All games are fairly cheap though, I haven't spent more than $3.99 to purchase anything. One possible con to this product is a tempremental wi-fi component. I've never had a problem connecting to a wi-fi network, but I know some people who have. We all have the same configuration for wi-fi, but it seems to work on some machines and not on others for no apparent reason (that we can tell).

The I-pod Touch Is probably one of the best things out there. It's extremly inventive and is great for listening to music. One good thing about the product is that The screen is larger than the other ipods making movies great! Another new thing out on this i-pod is that they have apps. These apps are different things and they variy from facebook to random games. Some games that they have are like cooking mama and super monkey ball. Some apps you have to buy while others may be free. The apple store has come out with many new things. If you look at apple's history it has grown quite alot. This is probably one of the most coolest things that they have came out with in a while. The ipod is really portable and you can even get the internet on it! Just make sure your in a wifi hotspot or have wireless internet at your house. It's quite convienet on the go and makes checking e-mail much easier if your traveling.

The IPOD touch is an easy product to use. I easily merged my Itunes from my old Ipod to this one. Apps are easily installed and wi-fi is easily accesible.

Holds about 1700 songs with additional space for movies/videos etc.

Comes with external speaker - very clear volume loud.

Although it is big - it's flat easily slips right into a pocket.

I would say this is a great product. It is very nice, I have to admit this ipod is definitely addicting. I like the sleek design, playing games ,the videos look amazing, and you also don't need to use the headphones to listen to the music. The only thing I would caution about this is if you have teenagers that have this device and you have wireless internet make sure you know they are able to go onto the internet and look at whatever they want.

Before i start let me just tell you "what's New" with the iPod touch Third generation" :

-Faster Cpu/Double the ram/Better graphic (faster Boot time/faster loading is all what i did notice)
-Double the storage for the same old price
-Voice control (I'll explain it in a second)
-Latest firmware for free
-New Earbuds with built in remote+Microphone (So you can use voice control)

And that is everything~ depends on your needs upgrading from 2G to 3G might be not worth it.

*Important Note* : only the New iPod touch 32GB/64GB are third generation ~ (8GB is repacked 2G) Details below.

About the new Voice control function, if you love to take your iPod with you to the Gym the new feature "Voice control" is pretty cool, it does allow you to control your music via your voice, no need to get the iPod out of your pocket you can simply say "Next" to move to next song, say "shuffle" for shuffle , say "Pause" and music playback will stop etc, that is why i recommend the iPod touch over iPod...

I am not a Apple fan at all! but after the iphone came out I had to get an ipod touch. I use it more for games and aps and internet then music. I only have the 8gb version but still can have tons of fun on the thing, i just don't use it for my huge music library i have a zune for that. But the touch's screen is so precise and accurate and makes all the aps and games very fun on it. If anyone is considering one i would suggest to get the smallest one and plan not to put your whole music library on it but that just me. I love the web browser and the facebook ap is nicer then using a pc and way better then most phones. I really wish i had the second gen which also includes a speaker which is nice. Another great ap is the youtube which looks amazing on the touch. I wish all the time my ipod touch was an iphone so if you can get the phone go for it and you have another company not ATandT then i would suggest the ipod touch newest ones. Well worth it in my book

This is the best product I have ever bought!! I got rid of all my cds and put all my music on here! I also get great apps! For example....I got the bank of america app and can do all my banking on the ipod! If you are near a wi fi connection, you can go on the internet for free. BUY THIS!!!

Love the ipod touch! This was my first ipod, and now I will never live without it again. Besides being easy to use and having state of the art technology, I appreciate how affordable the ipod touch is. It's a large initial investment, but after that, you don't have to pay for internet access, you can download only the songs you really want, and there are many apps for free or a minimal fee. I am certainly not a techie, but having the ipod touch makes me want to be one! It is especially great for traveling- before I go on a big trip, I download some new music, tv shows, movies, and games to prepare my self for the long car/train/plane ride. It's always enough to entertain me, and there is enough variety of things to do with the ipod touch, that I never get bored. I have been recommending the ipod to my family and friends and would really highly recommend it to anyone who can use a computer- as long as you have a basic knowledge of technology, it is extremely easy to use.

I can't go anywhere (in public) without my iPod Touch! It's got all of my favorite songs in it, as well as videos, games, pictures to keep me entertained wherever I go. It's like having a pocket sized computer basically. I love how you can use wifi to go online and check emails. This has to be the best Apple product for MP3 players to date. Its very interactive and easy to use. Just tap on the program you want to use, and its cute how there is a mini touch screen keyboard to type. It's even got a calculator to help you do some math if that's not your best subject. This is as close to an iPhone as you can get, which I don't mind not having because I have a fully functional cell phone. The only thing I would like added onto this wonderful device is camera or video taking capabilities. I don't understand why an iPod Nano 5th generation would have but not this product. There are alot of cool and free applications you can download from Itunes, so keep checking daily. It's funny riding the bus...

i love my Ipod touch...fairly easy to use. Great to put all your music on, play games, browse the internet, keep your daily tasks in order! Very light weight, and affordable.

My daughter wanted an Apple Ipod Touch 8GB for Christmas this year because all of her friends at school have one and she thought it would be fun. She was so excited about getting one that she saved up her birthday money and was able to buy it early! We are all learning how to download some songs and games, movies will be a little later. My daughter was able to download a song by herself and she is only 10, so this aludes to the fact that the Apple Ipod Touch is easy to use. She loves playing the games too.

And another great point is that there is a lot of content available for free, so while the initial investment of around $200 may seem a little pricey to some, the long-term is that my child gets hours of entertainment for little or no additional cost. The battery life is very short though. She was able to connect wirelessly for the first time and send us an email, she was so thrilled about that. We did notice a problem with one of the apps or games. She was able to download a Guitar Hero...

I love the iPod Touch! It is the coolest gadget i have ever gotten! I just adore it! I love the apps and audiobooks and games and music...if u don't want or cant get the iPhone, this is a great choice. The battery life could be a little better, but it's still a young gadget, so Apple will certainly make improvements on that soon.

This is a review for the Ipod touch 8 GB 1st generation. Ipod touches are the most fun mp3 players available on the market. You can do so many things with it. You can listen to your favorite songs, Watch your favorite tv shows and movies, download and play thousands of applications and games from the app store right on your ipod. This ipod is so fun and entertaining I could play with this Ipod touch for a year straight. Another amazing feature is the wifi. this means that you can wirelessly access the whole internet and even watch videos on youtube. Great for a businessman because you can email and write notes. Missed the weather on the news? No problem you can check the weather in any town or city. And if you need to know how to get some where you can use the Google maps app to find the best route to your destination. If you are thinking about getting an mp3 player or ipod an ipod touch is the way to go!

The iPod touch is a device hard to categorize, and even harder to find out if it's right for you. it shares the OS (if you're willing to pay an extra 10 dolars + tax for the 3.0 upgrade) the apps and the wifi with the iPhone. Otherwise it is a little bit thinner, and lacks the GPS, the camera and of course the phone (which means no internal mic). However, it does have an internal speaker. As far as being a useful device, it has all of the iphone's calendar and communication features, which makes it extremely useful if you have consistent access to wifi networks. If you buy the earphones with microphone you can use all of the voip apps (for example skype) to call, therefore making it ALMOST an iPhone. Why? Without a ringer you'll probably miss a few calls. The price might be considered expensive or cheap depending on your point of view and use of it. For a Skype phone it is expensive, even more so for a music device. as a web device it is priced just right and compared to the iPhone it...

Wowza, the IPod Touch is the greatest Ipod yet! It allows you to download so many different apps that can do so many various things. I personally use it a lot for the notes; they help me remember what to do throughout the day. Also, I am a college student so as on any campus, there is Wi-Fi, so I highly recommend to students. Also, you can check your email, send text messages, you can check the weather, stock market, whatever you want really!! You can add your photos and look at them on the go, which is cool... it syncs right to your itunes. The music also plays great and shows album artwork when you listen to the songs. I actually added the lyrics to the songs too, which I think makes it even cooler. Basically, you can do nearly anything with this, so I highly recommend it and am even considering getting an Iphone now that I know this is so great. Mac in general is very very great and has the best insurance policy I have seen. I feel warm and fuzzy on the inside knowing that they will...
