The IPOD by Apple is one of the best products that I've purchased in recent memory. This 30GB model should be able to hold your entire collection of mp3s without any issues involving running out of space. I have thousands of songs, but I'm not any where close to filling the hard drive up. It's also a lot easier to load songs onto an IPOD than it would be to burn several CDs full of music. IPODs are also easy for people with a wide range of technical abilities to use. The easy to use menu lets you quickly select the songs that you want to play. There are several drawbacks to this product though. The headphones that come with it seem to be a bit cheap. The felt-type stuff on the earbuds has worn off my pair several times. Apple sends an extra replacement pair, so they know that it's not going to last you very long. Also, this IPOD doesn't have a very long battery life and it does take a while to change if you let the battery run low.

The 30 Gig Ipod Video is an awesome Ipod to have because of how much music and videos you can store on it. As well as how easy it is to use it. Itunes is easy to use and it is also easy to get music onto your Itunes. The Ipod Video is great to have on a long trip because it has long battery life and since it is an Ipod Video then you can watch movies on it instead of having to listen to somebody else nagging you to death. Or you can you it to workout. Having an Ipod Video really helps pass the time away wether you are working out, on a car trip, in class, or walking to class. An Ipod Video gives you something to do when you doing nothing. Like loading new music onto your itunes or just chilling out and listening to your Ipod after a long day of work or class. Having an Ipod Video could also help you focus on your homework more because some people like to have music when they are doing homework or studying. So therefore if you have an Ipod Video your grades may be better. ...

I have an ipod 30gb video and I love mine. I don't think I could live without it. I have had mine for about 2 years and I still have more room on it. Even tho I truely love it I must say it can be a bit confuseing at times. I have erased all my stuff just because of little mess ups.

This 30 gig ipod, as previously mentioned, is pretty great. The screen is clear, bright, and great. The battery life is really good (best if you turn down the screen’s brightness). The one complaint I have about Apple products is that they seem to manufacture the most scratch-able surfaces in the world. The mirrored backside – ugh. It’s nice for a while, but then I got so nuts about it. You feel compelled to purchased cases and covers and the like to keep the surfaces nice and shiny – scratches build up and can make the back mirrored casing almost opaque. Slowly, but surely, this will bother you (weeellll ~ Ok, maybe this is just me). But other than that, 30 gigs is a pretty great – fits about six thousand songs on my ipod (and a few videos to boot!).

The sound quality it provides is pretty fantastic and really, my only other critiques are that the time at the top of the screen changes to the playlist when you touch the clickwheel, which I find kind of annoying, because it seems...

When it comes to mp3 players, what can be better than iPod? Absolutely nothing! If you read any of my reviews, you already know that I'm super "budget conscious"-- so much so that I spent two years after the iPod came out trying to find cheaper versions of them. Trust me, nothing compares to the simple goodness that is iPod. I tried relatively big-name iPods, but they were either bulky or difficult to navigate.

Here is what you need to know about iPod if you don't know much-- it's so simple that my 1 year old knows how to turn it on and operate it. No joke. It doesn't require any more than a thumbing through of the instruction booklet.

Benefits of this gem include ease of use, lightweight, powerful sound (great, honestly), and lots of storage. No need to worry about lugging around your cd case anymore. It's not the 90s, dude! Grab an ipod, and carry around your music library in your pocket.

The only negative about my iPod are the ear plugs. Unfortunately, they hurt my ears. No problem,...

I love my iPod Video White (30 GB) Media Player! I am a Mac person so iPod is the way to go, and after owning one of the old 4 GB iPod minis, I made the upgrade to a 30 GB iPod video two years ago. It's wonderful! Even though I have loaded it with music, there is still tons of room. Before a plane trip I like to add episodes of my favorite TV shows to give me something to do in the air if I get tired of reading. It's also great for listening to audiobooks because it saves your place even if you are listening to multiple books at once.

On the downside, the casing is easily scratched. Mine is marked up even though I put a cover on it. The hard drive is a little slow sometimes and can take a second or two to respond when you try to load music. And worst of all, the battery life varies greatly. After two years of moderate use, my player no longer works at all unless it is plugged in to a power source. A replacement kit runs about $30 if I install it myself, and $60 if I have Apple do it.

The Apple iPod is a great peice of technology. There is a great interface on it that makes it esay to find all of your favorite songs. The Only thing I will say that is somewhat bad is that the back metallic case scratches way too easily. You take it out of the box and now its scratched....

The Apple Ipod 30 Gb comes in black or white. It easy to use and holds tons of music. I've had mine for 4 years and still haven't filled it up. It holds my music, movies, podcast, class notes and keeps me occupied with and long lasting battery.
