the ipod 5th generation video 30 gb mp3 player is an amazing ipod!!! i received this ipod as a gift a year ago and i absolutely love it!!! it is in excellent amazing condition. i have nevr had any problems with it. i received this ipod used, but it is definitely worth it because there are no problems, and everything about this ipod is amazing. the battery life is good for a day and then some. (and yes i have actually had it playing for almost 24 hours straight) the best feature about this ipod is the video aspect of it. once a video is downloaded and put onto this ipod, the quality of the video is already improved. the sound quality is great (especially if you pair it with some skullcandy in-ear earbuds - it really blasts the sound). the space on the ipod is just huge! i still havent filled it up and i have 398 songs, 10 music videos, and 10 movies. there are a few games on teh ipod too that are fun if you need to kill time and you are bored. i absolutely love this ipod! and the color is...

When it comes to the 30G video iPod, you really don't need anything else. Sure, there are much larger capacity iPods out there now, but I don't really want my whole entire music library on my iPod. If I have too much music on it, it's nearly impossible to decide what to listen to. It doesn't have applications or anything like the new iTouch does, but it's old school and simple, and it does what I want it to do. I don't really use the photo feature, but the video is nice when I'm waiting somewhere and want to watch a part of a tv episode to keep myself entertained. All in all, a great item.

I got my ipod about 3 years ago and have loved it since. It's well worth the $300 you pay for it. It comes with an adapter for the computer so that's a benefit. I would defintiely buy another ipod, and actually have as gifts. I think everyone should have one.

The cons are that for every other accessory you have to purchase them and they can be a little pricey, though I find places with these items marked down. They do scratch easily so I suggest a case to cover them. Even so you can put tons of pictures, movies, and music on them and the screen is clear and has full, vibrant color. Battery life is moderate, I use mine a lot and feel that I don't have to charge it as often as I thought I would.

All in all I highly reccomend the ipod to anyone who's looking for a mp3 player because it is the best on the market and highly durable and there are so many different options that you are sure to find one that best fits what you want.

This iPod is definetly the best product that I have ever bought from Apple. They are known for their high quality and having the newest technology and this delivers. I bought my 80 Gb Ipod video five years ago and I have never had a problem with it. I have (unintentionally) dropped, chipped, and scratched it with no ill effects. It plays videos and movies well (though I would recomend a charger that you an use while watching so that you do not run your batteries down). I was a little skeptical about using it for video, ect. because the screen was so small bu quickkly found that I hardly saw a difference. The 80 GB storage space is enough for more than they advertise on commercials. I have over 2000 songs and have several movies, hundreds of videos, and many pictures and my storage is only a fourth full.It works with any type of headphones that can plug into a headphone jack. This is a great product that you will get far more than your moneys worth!

This I-Pod is one of the first to come out and also one of the best that have came out. This is a must have for all of you music addicts and movie cravers. It comes with a memory card big enough for anyone who like to listen to music or watch movies all day. This I-Pod video comes with 4 already built in games and more can be bought at the itunes store along with everything video and music wise for the I-Pod Video. I have had mine ever since it came out and i use it for atleast an hour a day. It is great for trips or plane rides. Its screen is big enough to you and another to watch a movie at the same time. Though it does not come with Wi-Fi you can still have fun playing all the games, listning to music, or watching endless movies. This i-pod would be a great gift for all of your kids and it is affordable too. Great for Christmas gifts or Birthday presents and most of all to have fun!!!

I have had my 30GB Video Ipod for almost 2 and a half years and have not had a single problem with it. There's plenty of storage for everything you could want to put on it and I've still got about 10GB left. I would invest in a hard case, because I've dropped mine on concrete a few times and the case prevented any damage and keeps it from getting any scratches. It is definintly worth the more expensive price tag compared to other mp3 players.

Nothing Apple when it comes to sound. I wish the surface was less prone to scratches.

It is slightly heavy and the metal back does not give a very good grip.

Maybe apple should come with a rubber back or leather back...

Overall, I think there are devices that competitors have come up with..

I love this iPod. I love music, but it also stores videos, music videos, movies, photos, games and my calendar (must sync with iPhoto, iCal on my MacIntosh computer). If I need my calendar, I always have it, just update it regularly. Also, if I am bored, I can play solitaire or other games that you can download from the website.

This mp3 player is very advanced and of great quality. This ipod is great quality. I have had mine for about 3 years and it has been through everything and still works perfectly. I have had my 30G ipod for two years now and it runs pretty well, battery still stays charged for hours. The only issue I have run into is when using the car adapters to listen to my ipod it will say there is an error if I do not unplug the ipod after the car is turned off. I then turn it off and wait a few min and then I am ready to go again!...
