ChristineZibas says "Apple's iPod Nano Rocks Out" about Apple - iPod Nano (4 GB)

How did I live so long without an iPod Nano? This is one of the best additions to my life. A late bloomer when it comes to MP3 players, I first had an iPod Shuffle, but with no control over which song would play, and too little storage, I eventually decided I needed something with more features and more music capacity. I have never looked back.

I use my iPod Nano daily, and am always downloading new songs. With the huge music library at Apple iTunes, there is always something I want, not to mention podcasts and other free material (like walking tours of major cities). The only disadvantage of getting the Apple iPod Nano is that, of course, Apple is constantly improving and increasing the features yearly.

Now you can get an iPod with video capability, something the Nano doesn't have. Ther is also the disadavantage of being limited to iTunes (or your own CDs, which you can upload). Switching out computers can also cause some iTune glitches, but overall, I love my iPod Nano, and wouldn't trade...
...

I really like the apple iPod Nano (4 GB). I use mine every day. It holds a very good bit of songs. The picture is great. It organazies everything really well. So everything is very easy for you to find. The touch turning is probabley the best part about it. It is so much easier to move your finger in a circle then to click a button over and over. It comes in some really awesome colors also. You can get one to match your car, your shoes, even your cat if you wish. You wont be dissapointed. If you are giving it as a gift then I can garentee they will not be dissapointed either. Even if you arent very good with technical things you will find out how to use this very quickly. and it will be so easy for you to use on the road, on a walk or a jog. it never skips. so you never have to worry about your favorite song skipping while you are singing along. it is much better then older cd players that skip everytime they are bumped.
...

The ipod 4g is easy to use and has really awsome sound. It is very easy to use and easy to lock if you have little ones. It is easy to use on a laptop or a desktop computer. The videos look and sound wonderful on this tiny item. It is small so it doesn't take up much room in you purse or pocket. You can fill it with 2000 songs . The great thing is if you only like one song on a cd or album you can download just that one song and dont have to by the whole cd or album to get that song. If you were going to invest some money in an ipod I would pick this one if you like to listen to music , watch videos, play games and like the fact that you can fit it into very small places.
...

DivaDivine says "Works Great" about Apple - iPod Nano (4 GB)

After initially resisting the urge to get an iPod, I finally broke down and got an iPod Nano a little over two years ago. I can't tell you how glad I am to finally have one. My initial reason for wanting to get an MP3 player was due to my frustration over CDs that would constantly get scratched, skip when playing, or break in half. Instead of carrying around a bunch of CDs and listening to one or two songs per CD, it's a lot easier to upload songs on an iPod and listen to whatever I want whenever I want. It is also a lot easier to carry around. I can clip it onto my pants or skirt when I am working or exercising. I like that I can create my own playlists. It can be a bit difficult to turn off, which can be frustrating sometimes. My only major problem with the iPod is the headphones. I have had to get a replacement pair of headphones for the iPod nano because the factory issued ones fell apart.
...

I was wary of the new iPod nano, simply because it is so thin and small. But it has stood the test of time as a very durable and beautifully made iPod. The sound on the iPod is much better than it previously was, the battery life is long, the chromatic colors are hard to resist and the scratch resistant glass is a definite bonus. I am prone to damage my iPods, having put Apple's warranty through it's ranks MANY times, but this iPod has nary a scratch on it and I've had it since Christmas. It's been dropped and at times, poorly stored, but it still looks like it just came out of the box. I would prefer more GB but I'm sure that will come with time. :)

They say great things come in small packages..and this is exactly true with the iPod Nano. It's very small but can store plenty of music and photos. I got my silver Nano about two years ago and up to this day, it still looks good and still works perfectly it's like i just bought it yesterday! I also got the Ipod Classic and occasionally, i use my fiance's iPod Black when mine is low on battery -- they are twice bigger than the Nano and can support not just music and photos, but also video playbacks. All of them are wonderful!!...Normally when i carry a bigger purse, i bring my Classic, when i have a small purse or when i don't have it at all, i choose to carry my Nano : - ). To download my music, i just sync it to itunes on our Mac and everything is good to go. It's that quick and easy. Other features include a calendar, stop watch and world clock, so if you're traveling across datelines, you can monitor and synchronize with time changes.
...

iluvryno says "These are cool, hip and awesome!" about Apple - iPod Nano (4 GB)

I bought two iPod Nano's for my girls after they brought home straight A's on their report cards. Softball season is here and they need music for 'between game' entertainment.

This generation of iPod is awesome. The thing is so small and lightweight! Turning it sideways and seeing album covers differently is pretty cool too. Using iTunes to download songs is easy and the fact that you can load your own CD's into your iTunes library (for free of course) is a bonus.

You'll need to get a case for the Nano - because it is so light and small it's easy to drop. I would also suggest a 'skin' to personalize it.

Controls are pretty easy - it's a snap to create playlists (Disney songs, hip-hop, oldies, etc) so the kids can listen by genre if they choose. The iPod also tracks your 'most listened to tracks' so you can automatically to to this playlist and it knows what you like.

iPods are affordable and cool. I love mine and now my kids love theirs!
...

apple ipods has hit big because the look is sooo nice, it's hard to pick an mp3 player over it, but look ive studied the secrets of apple since my mp3 busted after about a year, which i barely used in the first place...guys the reason why apple gives you a year warranty is because in average they bust in about a year and a half, after like 7 months of having bought my ipod, the right earphone was getting real low, i thought it was the headphones, but i bought new ones, and same problem, not to mention the original headphones stopped working about 2 months after my purchase, afterabout a year and a few months, the whole mp3 was busted, it doesnt lock anymore, and i would leave it one my desk and my ipod would just turn on and off without touching it, so the battery would die so fast....its garbage now!!!!
...

This is my second iPod (my first took one too many falls out of my bag and I got the Apple frowny face of death) and even though the first one didn't last too long, I'm hoping to have better luck with the nano. I really like that it's small enough to run with it on, but it'll hold a ton of music! Plus it's pretty easy to use, which is big since I'm not the most electronics-savvy person in the world.

I just wish that it didn't switch to horizontal view when I hold it sideways - if I'm carrying it, the viewer switches back and forth. I've seen the same thing on the iPhone so I guess this is one of the new bells and whistles...I'm just not that impressed. And I can't stand the earphones that come with it. I know a lot of people can use the earbuds but I had to go out and get new ones.

Basically I'm an iPod customer until a competitor can make a player that looks as good.
...

The Ipod Nano 16 GB 4th Generation Mp3 player is a good all purpose Mp3 player and is good for working out since it has no hard drive and will not skip. it is all flash memory. the only drawback i have found with it is when you start putting movies and TV shows on it it starts using up the room really fast.if you use this just for music you will have a TON of room.I actually own two ipods the Classic 120 GB and the Nano 16GB. i use the Nano for music and working out and i use the classic for all music and video. you cant go wrong with either one it just depends on what you want to do with the player. in my humble opinion i think the Ipod is the best around right now....
