this is my opinion of my 8GB Apple Ipod. I bought a brand new one and I usually kept it plugged in to charge and I unplugged it one time and didnt use it for like 2 month, and it totally died. I had to complain hard to Apple to send me another one. I think the one they sent me was used but I have no proof. It came with a 90 day warranty but I keep it plugged in all the time. I dont dare to not keep it fully charged. when I contacted Apple support they didnt want to help until I made a federal case out of it. everybody wants to charge for help they give. I think thats a crock of crap. I had trouble with my ipod since day one. I wouldnt buy another one just for the simple fact that I dont like the customer support team. I wont buy products from a company that wont give support when customers need it. I have bought other Apple products like the ITOUCH and the classic and they didnt want to give me support on the ITOUCH either. so anyways, thats my opinion of Apple.

I have an 80GB Black Video iPod and I love it. I am a big music lover and sometimes the radio just gets annoying. I bought a 2009 Honda Civic recently which is equipped with the mp3 USB interface, so I just plug in my iPod directly into the USB interface and it automatically detects and plays the music. I also like to download movies and tv shows on my iPod so I can watch them while I'm working out or at work (shhh!), which is so convenient! It is very portable and easy to use and the screen gives an excellent picture for such a small size. I would like to think I have quite a bit of music, but I don't see my iPod running out of room anytime soon! The battery gets drained fairly quickly while watching videos, but I kind of expect that so am not too disappointed. I also like how it shows the album art (if available) when playing music. I wish you could upload different video formats onto the iPod besides just mp4s, but oh well. Still love it!

The 80GB Ipod Classic Black Digital Media Player is the best Ipod that Apple has come out with to date. It is light weight and thinner than Ipods of the past. It will store about 20,000 songs at 128kbps. Since itunes is now importing CDs at 256kbps you will get better quality but only be able to store about 10,000 songs at that rate. At this point in time I have about 5,700 songs and have started to convert my CDs to 256kbps for my Ipod Classic. I use the 80GB Ipod Classic in my car which has an auxiliary input jack. It is a great way to listen to music on a long car trip without having to carry all those cds. All your cds covers are also displayed on the Ipod which to cool to have. You can also store pictures on the Ipod. I would have to say for the price difference between the nanos and this 80GB Ipod classic you are getting 10 times the space for just a little more money. I would say you should get the upgrade and get the 80GB Ipod Classic in case you do eventually...

well i would have to give it to apple for there line of apolle comeputer and i pods. The I pod touch is much like the i phone but lacks the calling areas but if you know how to hack it you can text free and make calls as long as you have a wifi signole

I loved my ipod- except when it broke. I used my ipod daily and then it started freezing a shutting off. I am on my second one.

I had no idea that the battery was supposed to last 36 hours for music, mine only lasted 6. Someone else who owned an ipod let me know. I took it to Best Buy to get the battery replaced and they thought it should only last 6 hours also. They looked it up on the website and found out that it should last 36 hours. Another problem; I had over 19,000 songs on my Ipod before I got my battery replaced. I don't keep my music on my computer's hard drive so I had to buy some software to take my music off of my Ipod before I lost it. Thank the software gods for that because all 19,000+ songs were erased and had to be put back on. It took me 4 months to get all my music back on.

I am a music lover to my heart. To be honest, I had my eye on the Ipod Touch for over a year now. The only thing that stopped me from getting it is the fact that you can't just access it from where you are, you have to take it somewhere and use wifi; the day when you can take that bad boy with you anywhere and access things online, that is the day I'll buy it. So, alas, I bought the Apple Ipod Classic 120 GB. I got it in January, and still have like less than a thousand songs on there. Although I think it's a great toy, the thing that gets me the most is when I last downloaded some songs from Itunes to the Ipod, the song didn't quite finish up and I had to contend with the ITunes staff on this more than once. But I will say to their credit that the staff there are real good. I highly suggest you get an outlet other than your computer to keep your ipod charged. I suggest you check out some great headphones that won't go bust on you within a month; Koss- uhh uhh; Sony- jury still out. I......

The Ipod Classic 120 GB is very user friendly. it will hold a ton of stuff from songs, movies and TV shows. it is very easy to navigate i really enjoy it. the Itunes interface is very nice as well. i had originally bought a microsoft Zune and i had to return it (it was terrible) i am very pleased with the Ipod Classic!!...

The iPod Classic is great. I've yet to encounter any problems with it, and the quality of sound is absolutely fantastic. I do recommend upgrading headphones and going with some Skullcandy earbuds, however. The only downside to this iPod is with the other, more flashy and fun iPods out there. The iTouch and certainly the iPhone bring have many more options for gaming and versatility in functionality. But the Classic serves its purpose exceedingly well....

I love the ipod classic...... It has no problems, except for maybe the small screen.

I can load so much music and videos and still seem to have space. No matter how much more I put on it, it never malfunctions or breaks down in any way.

I have never had tech problems with it and not had to even go to apple for anything.

The iPod Classic 80gb is very nice. Not too big, not too small. It just works, and works good! The only thing about it that I don't like is you can't view the full album art when listening to a song anymore!...

I'm reviewing the Classic Ipod. This is a great item. Yu can get a lot out of it when you are traveling and you have nothing to do. You can either watch a video, or listen to the thousands of songs that were downloaded to it. I would recommend this to everyone. I don't leave home without it. Keep up with the latest tunes on Itunes....
