The portable MP3 player is a pretty basic electronic 'must-have' now days. I mean, who keeps up with cds anymore? That being said, it is important to remember that there are plenty of other MP3 players available out there besides this one. In fact, having owned one for several years now, I probably wouldn't buy an iPod if I knew about other options, as I do now.

Why, you ask? Well the main thing that I find...difficult about the iPod is iTunes. Sure, it may be 'wrong' to 'steal'/share music, but come on! Who doesn't?! Who in the world has the money to finance a healthy musical library when each and every song costs $0.99?! Not I! I'm certain many of my fellow college students would agree that having to pay for music is really really unbearable. Thus, we must consider the alternatives: file sharing! Well, since the iPod only syncs with one computer and/or one iTunes account, file-sharing, even innocent examples of it (like consolidating your own personal cd collection) becomes next to...

My iPod was actually a gift--I didn't want one at first. I played around with it and fell in love with it, but sometimes find it frustrating when looking at pictures and listening to music and the battery dies out of nowhere. Maybe mine's just a lemon, but it seems that the power cord had better be close by whenever you use it.

I'm a person who has always been up to date with the new IPods and when the ITouch came out, I wanted it. Honestly, it may not seem that great when you can have the IPhone or a smaller IPod, but the ITouch is pretty handy. You can access wi-fi if your anywhere near it, you can download tons of applications like games, fitness stuff, sports watch, the radio, and tons more. The battery life lasts me about a week roughly and I listen to it when I walk to class and sometimes while I do homework. I take it everywhere I go and it's just one of those items that I know I can't live without. I

Apple has done an amazing job with the ITouch and it'll be interesting to see how they can possibly top this. I definitely reccomend the 30GB to music lovers because it can hold thousands of songs, tons of videos and applications, and movies for when your on a long trip. If you don't think that's enought, I believe they have the 80GB as well.

I purchased the device mainly because I commute to and from work via public transportation. The noise from other patrons or even the transport itself can be a bit overwhelming after a long day at the office.

I have downloaded music, books on cd and even videos to pass the time and make my ride a little more enjoyable.

It's very user friendly and I love how compact it is. I have never had an problems with the device.

Apple Ipod 30GB is great for traveling or if you bored out of your mind. Its has game that you can play with having to push any buttons. I bought one for a friend and almost wanted to keep it for myself. I enjoyed the video, music, and most of all the games. This is number one on my christmas wish list. Of course I would suggestion getting a bigger GB, if you want more room for videos and more. But you have to be careful not to drop, it can be easily broken. I suggest a case....

This Ipod is absolutely awesome!! It holds thousands of your favorite songs, hours of your favorite movies, and tons of photos! The picture quality is great! I use mine to work out most of the time and then if I'm in a waiting room somewhere, I just pull it out of my purse and it is instant entertainment. I absolutely love being able to download all my cds on to my ipod. No more big carrying case for all those cds. And better yet, no more annoying skipping from those tore up cds!! This Ipod is definately a good choice!...

We got an ipod touch for xmas and have fallen in love with it and cant put it down it wass 300.00 but I have bought so many other mp3 players that only offer about 10% of the features that this unit does.Going online to check email anywhere there is a wi-fi is so convient to use and keeps us in touch with every one...

I love my IPod 30 GB. I also wanted one but am not much for trying the latest technology. Luckily I got one as a gift and it has been a godsend every since. I travel a lot and my IPod goes everywhere I go. On long flights it helps drown out the noise of other passengers and helps me get some rest. On short flights, I am able to play CUBIS and listen to music at the same time. The only thing that frustrates me about the device is that when you can't play games on it for too long before it drains your battery. Therefore, I have to be very selective on long flights about using it. All in all, it is a great device and I would recommend it to anyone who does a lot of traveling....

I love my ipod. Whether I am listening to music thru earbuds or speakers the quality is good. Its convenient to be able to listen to what i want in the car and I love being able to watch videos wherever I am. Its easy to convert files to the ipod format, the only drawback to that is the time that some files take to convert, especially video files. I also wish that the ipod had come with a program to convert all video formats instead of having to find one online....
