I had the blackberry along with many other phones and the iPhone 8g is my absolute favorite phone!!! Once you get used to the full touch screen and texting with it...it is a piece of cake!!! There are apps for everything! You get the most use out of the internet you pay for. Other phones you cant see the whole website or pictures dont show up on the screen when your surfing the net. With this phone it is like you are using the computer!!! I would recommend it to everyone!!!! LITTLE TIP: If you get the Otter Box (a case) for the phone it is fully enclosed and absolutely protected. You dont have to worry about the wear and tear of everyday.
...

OK....let me just start by saying that I am not usually one to get fancy things. However, the Apple iPhone is amazing! When it first came out it was far too expensive and I didn't see a need for all it offered anyway. It's been out for awhile now, my cell phone company was offering a deal, and it was time for me to upgrade. All of these factors combined sent me out looking for a new cell phone. I started out just looking a LG phones because that is a brank I trust. However, I was in the store and a sales rep asked me if I needed help and I said I was just looking. That is when he told me the deal going on for the Apple iPhone. I immediatedly was interested. He showed me what the phone had to offer and I was hooked. It wasn't just a phone, it was a device for.....well everything! I just had to have it and it is one of the best decisions I made. The Apple iPhone is so wonderful I don't know how I ever lived without it. The phone, the internet, the mp3 player, the...
...

I had a Motorola Razor before I upgraded to the iphone. I am very impressed with it. The things I love the most about this phone- the touch screen, the classy look, all the "stuff". Really the ability to put apps right there in one central place is fabulous. I have the weather, my online bank log in, facebook, the internet, games, notepad, calender, etc all in one central location. I am not a super techy person, so i am sure there are many things that the iphone is capable of that I am completely unaware of. But for anyone like me, that soesnt need something capable of doing techy things, this is still worth the money. The texting took a bit to get used to at first. It can be fairly frustrating. Coming from using raised buttons, and getting pretty used to "feeling" them to find your letter, the iphone requires you to be very exact in pushing the screen for a letter. I often found myself picking the letter right next to or above the letter that I needed. Especially with long nails. But once...
...

Getting an iPhone is worth the wait...I was forced to wait, and was trying everything in my power to get one, and finally that day has dawned. It was everything I expected and then some!

The iPhone literally puts all my normal computing tasks in my hand. I can read my e-mail, check my websites I frequent daily, update my Facebook status, and then do all the normal stuff I used to do on my old phone (text message, calls, etc). Probably the 2 greatest features I've used so far is the mapping technology and the fact that I can now pull up internet pages and look things up on the go (excellent for when I'm grocery shopping and forget if a certain recipe calls for an ingredient). The camera is also quite good, and I love the ability to immediately e-mail photos rather than having to do a multimedia message (my mother appreciates this - she hates pictures on her phone, but loves them in e-mail)

The only cons I have to say is that it is a bit slow (I was unable to choose my model, and...
...

I enjoy using my Apple iPhone 8GB phone. It especially comes in handy when I'm board or if I'm waiting in line or something like that. I can just pull out my iPhone and open one of the many apps offered by Apple and play a game or whatever until it is my turn. Like they say in the commercial, there is an app out there for pretty much everything possible.
...

I am constantly on my phone either texting or talking. Without my iPhone there would be so many instances where we would be lost, the gps is amazing. It's having a computer in your hand. I love having internet access at my fingertips wherever I go. The multiple additional applications are very handy. My phone would be permanently attached to my hand if it wasn't for having to eat and sleep and it is right next to me when I do sleep. The alarm clock mode is great and I can wake up to any song I want including my ringtones that I made myself. The phone is lightweight, and beautiful. I definately recommend getting a cover for the phone itself and the screen most importantly to keep it safe and unscratched. It would be better though if At&t would get MMS messaging. I highly reccomend the iPhone 3G and if you are a big apple or iPhone supporter, I would reccomend spending the extra $100 for the 3GS.
...

BANNANABRA says "My Apple 2G I-phone" about Apple - iPhone (8 GB) Cell Phone

My Apple 2G I-phone is serviced through At&t. My I-phone may be able to do more things then I have listed. I have listed the things I do know about it. I decided to purchase the 2G Apple I-phone rather then the 3G due to I could only afford the 2G.

The only difference I have heard between the two is the 3G has a faster speed and can just do a few more things. At any rate I could only afford the 2G and I have been very happy with it. The slower speed is not that bad.

Anyway, I love my I-phone so much I almost LIVE on it. I have owned it about 6 months. Anyway, I live on this phone and if I can't do something on it I use my laptop. So, I am on my I-phone and laptop consistently. I used to take my laptop to work to fill in down time at work; however I now just bring my I-phone.

It keeps me entertained for hours! The only thing I don't like about it is it does not support the Flash Drive videos. When Apple comes out with something that does and it is not too expensive I will look into purchasing...
...

The Apple Iphone is truly the most amazing phone I have ever had the pleasure of using. I have used 20+ cell phones in my years, and this one definitely does it all. I download podcasts, all my songs, music videos, and tv shows to watch in my spare time when I am out and about. I use the original version which was before the 3G and now 3GS, however it still does most of what I need at this time. You can upgrade the os platform to 3.0 and that will allow you to use the copy and paste feature, as well as voice memos. Voice memos can be synced to your computer also. The app store is awesome, and has many free apps .. some are useless but fun to waste time with. Most other apps are the low low price of 99 cents plus tax - well worth the price! You can now get the Iphone 3G for $99 thru AT&T if you want to open an account and/or add a line, or if you're eligible for upgrade. Really, you need to check it out!
...

I own the 3g iPhone and couldn't live without it. My last review was on a Razr and that was a nice phone but the iPhone is without peer. And don't think you have to spend money on apps. There's a TON of free (and good) ones. I've only purchased two apps and they're really not worth the money. I suggest buying a gel case for your phone. It's money well spent. If you happen to drop your phone, the case absorbs some of the shock. You can't buy a warranty for the iPhone, like you can for other phones. They only sell a warranty that allows you free shipping and fast turn around when your battery dies. I had to find a phone number while traveling south on I-95 in GA. No problem with an iPhone. As I said, couldn't live without it. Don't hesitate to buy it. It's now CHEAPER, too!!!!
...

Tomorrow at WWDC Apple will likely announce their own video camera app or video iphone. Over the past two months, Apple has blocked our breakthrough video camera app, iVidCam, and our attempts to dialogue with them. We have become deeply disappointed by Apple's practice of ignoring developers instead of dialoguing and partnering with us as they led us to believe they would do. We feel misled, mistreated and overall saddened by Apple. As iPhone OS 3.0 and a possible new iPhone gets announced, we wonder what the real future of the iPhone and Apple's relationship with developers is.

We've posted on our website, www.gpapps.com, our communication with VP Phil Schiller (the keynote presenter for WWDC) and his team that describes our ordeal with Apple.
