the I mac 20' 4GB ram, i will never buy a PC agian.. using a mac is so easy and pleasant why would I want to go back to a machine that i spent more time fixing then enjoying.. the mac is wireless, may cost a little more but it is worth every penny...

We bought our Apple iMac after shopping around and reviewing almost every computer out there. Our old PC crashed beyond repair and we wanted a reliable, fast, easy-to-use computer. At first we were hesitant about Apple ONLY because of the initial cost, but we were so unimpressed with Microsoft Vista and were uneasy about the virus problems. We quickly decided it would be worth the extra money up front to have all the advantages that Apple provides. We went with the 20" monitor for practical reasons but would have loved to splurge for the 24". The 20" has proven to be more than enough for us, though.

The salespeople at the Apple store are truly professional and have complete confidence in their products. We took advantage of their training seminars and have quickly transitioned to the new format. We appreciate having the option of running windows, but so far we have found no need to do so. We love the all-in-one product with no tower to worry about, and it just looks cool....

My son, the high-tech man, led me to the iMac, and I have never turned back to the piece of desktop junk that I had. This thing does everything of which I haven't learned yet. Just got it Christmas of 2008. Apple has contacted me so many times just to offer their services if I needed anything. Has anyone out there heard of such service these days? I have had a great time with the iphotos. Have not had to worry about viruses, or the thing going off for no reason. It is really fast. If I had a business out of my home, this would be the perfect computer to run it with. I love the 20" screen too, one can just pull up a comfortable chair, pull up a rental movie, drag the popcorn out, sit and enjoy !!! That saves money too, of which all of us have to do these days. I also love the i-tunes, the sound is great deep and rich. Sometimes I leave my music playing all day long,even when I am gone. It keeps my little dog company. The 20" iMac desktop is an outstanding machine no matter what your level of computer knowledge. It has an Intel processor in it making it up to date with the latest hardware and enabling you to do things like run Windows as a native operating system. It has EVERYTHING you would want in a computer. It has a Webcam built-in, CD/DVD burner that can burn dual-layer discs, a very big hard drive, lots of RAM, wireless built-in for connecting up to a wireless router, a remote for using with media center stuff, and a lot of other great features.

The hardware itself is simply outstanding. IF something breaks, and thats a big if, the unit is covered under a standard 1-year warranty where Apple will fix it for you FAST and free. This warranty is expandable to 3-years by purchasing the Apple Protection Plan (which I suggest). I happened to get a unit with a hard drive that was bad in it and had to take it in for repair a week after I bought it. I was only without it for maybe 4 days...

I have just recently switched from PC to Mac, and I love it! I like to think of myself as good with computers, and was cautious about switching over to a Mac. However, I have been playing around with my Mac for now about a month, and wouldn't go back! Mac is the up and coming, more than it already is!! I now have 4 apple products which I live by! Highly recommended even if you don't use a Mac for graphic design, it's for everyone!!!

I am a graphic designer so the obvious choice for a new computer would be to get a Mac. This computer I have had for a year and have had no problems yet, knock on wood lol, It runs beautifully and fast. The style is sleek and thin, it doesn't take up any room at all. The monitor is a large screen with an amazing clarity. Without the tower it fits perfectly on the desk with hardly any messy wires to hide away. The keyboard is wonderful due to the soft keypad. I love that it is flat and easier to use than other bolder keyboards. The mouse is great because you can move, besides up and down (scroll) you can move left to right. For graphic designers it is great because it allows you to move quickly through your work on the different program software. You can have a lot of programs open and it doesn't slow the computer down as much as a PC would. If there are any problems apple is there to help you through it. I definitely recommend this or any computer made by apple.

i love my mac.....i had it for a year now....my family loves it....service is great in some apple stores...i purchased my mac in delaware...the store is great..my sales tech. was Gail...she was super.i love the firefox..i will tell everyone go too the apple store for your purchases...forget BEST BUY....the service is not that great....

since owning this new imac i would never go back to a pc, i highly recommend this product to anyone. If you remember the old days when macs looked so complicated you should be aware that these days they are so simple to use just like windows on a pc.

great product you dont have to worry about viruses and problems.

also the imac has everything preinstalled that you need unlike pc that comes with virtually nothing installed.

The imac also holds its price unlike pc which go down in price as time goes on.

if you want a computer that will last as well as hold its value buy an imac!

I love our iMac. We bought it about 2 months ago and everything is great.

I was a 100% PC-user and my husband was a 100% mac user and this year we were due to buy a new computer. we discussed getting 2; inexpensive laptops or desktops to use; one a PC and one a Mac, but then realized how foolish that would be considering neither of us is on the computer all that much (because we are on the computer at our jobs all day long)

so we went to the Mac store at our local mall, and i fooled around on the iMac to get a feel for if i would like using a mac. and i loved it! its so easy

i would say the only draw-back to using a mac is that all the computer games that are sold at local stores for 20 dollars or less and PC only. You have got to watch that the software is Mac ready.

I've wanted a MAC since I first learned on an Apple in the early 90's. They have always been the most user friendly computers available. Finally bought my IMAC earlier this year and have been completely satisfied in every way. The slim design with no CPU tower to store is great, since my computer room is quite small. The screen is big and vibrant. The slimline keyboard looks good and works well. My biggest problem is learning all the things I can do with it. I use a Dell with Windows at work and it's a glitch ridden piece of junk, but I know it's ins and outs. I've probably only scratched the surface of 10% of the capability of my IMAC. I bought the IMAC for Dummies book, now to find the time to read it!

My son tried to talk me into buying a Dell to save money. That's what he has and it's often in the "shop", so to speak, when it crashes. No thank you! So far I've had a lot of problem free hours of operation.

First off I use the IMAC 20" all in one all the time. The software is excellent and I think Vista used the Leopard operating system when they launched it. Only the Apple's operating system does not crash and it functions with all the software.

I use Apple I MAC 20" for everything. I do have an Dell 15" laptop which I also use.

The apple is faster, reliable and I can count on it when I boot it up.

I highly recommend trying the Apple IMAC at a Best Buy or an Apple Store near you.

Love my iMac 20". It takes up little space without the tower making it virtually portable . It could be moved to different locations within the home, if need be. I would never go back to a PC- the difference is outstanding.
