I'm not real big on technology, so I didn't know where to even start looking for a computer when I needed something to help me blog, research, and do other work remotely. A friend recommended the Macbook Pro for reliability, but as a lifelong Windows user I was concerned that I'd have a hard time getting used to the interface. It was a little struggle at first, but within a few days I was uploading posts and videos witht he best of them. I don't use anywhere near all the power this thing has, but I know a lot of video editors and graphic design people with the same laptop who love it as well.

Mac's customer support is also miles beyond Windows. Not that I ever have any issues with the computer (it NEVER crashes!), but the Mac "Geniuses" are always more than happy to help me (and I can actually speak with a real person at the Apple store). I did have my battery die on me after about a year, and they replaced it for free without any hassle. I'm now a Mac user for life!

I happen to be of just the age that I track the history of the personal computer.

I first encountered a computer in fifth grade, a solitary Radio Shack TRS-80 that was parked in the school library. Soon thereafter, I was the proud owner of a Commodore VIC-20. Built in RAM: 5K. 5K!!! (Can you imagine how skilled a programmer you needed to be to do anything in 5K?). The Commodore 64 took me through high school (where the computer lab machines were Commodore PET's). I never owned an Apple 2, but in college we all had Apples -- the classic Mac (512K). In professional school, I was using a Mac Powerbook laptop.

But here's the story everyone knows: by the time I left the confines of the university, the Windows-based PC dominated the business world. Thus, for the last 15 years, I have had little choice but to use them. And to be fair, Windows works well enough. I've been a PC user my whole life, but got into photography a few years ago and built a business on it... everyone kept telling me to go to a mac, but I wasn't so sure... then I got a laptop with vista... :( Decided it was time to make the change & I went to a mac... Love how fast this computer is and I never have to worry about getting it repaired because it always works! I think the case will fall apart before the hardware ever will! Love it and would buy it again in a heartbeat!

my husband purchased the mac for me a month or so ago.I am still trying to get use to using it. But have found it great for my son to create his projects or school. I am still practicing with the iphoto and was able to pull in all my photos from our other windows based desktop computer. I love the features in the iphoto, the face recognition is wonderful. The ability to make photo books, calenders and cards is great. I can't wait to learn what else I can do with this program. The numbers program (if thats what it is called) is also very neat. we have created brochours (spelling) on it and they have come out great. I am a bit technically challenged so it is taking me some time to learn. I still have so much to learn on this computer. I like the auto sync between the computer and my sons ipod and my itouch. The sales people were absolutely great when we were buying it. Can't wait to get my printer hooked up so I can start printing coupons... I also look forward to other programs that I can...

This mac laptop is awesome in just about every way. It's light weight, durable, easy to use, easy to navigate, easy to find products to go along with it. Even a non-mac lover can use this laptop with great ease. Software is easy to download. Fantastic graphics and video capabilities. I would recommend it for anyone from a student (as young as Jr. High at least) all the way to a professional in the film industry. It's got incredible power and memory. It's got great applications that come with the laptop, including iTunes (iPods are a must), iPhoto, Dashboard, Quicktime, etc. All the Apple basics that come with the big desktop computers made by Apple. The downfall - the battery life is terrible, just really bad. Also, the batteries are expensive to replace and I've had mine for a year now, and I've already had to replace the battery twice! If apple could just improve on the battery life.

The Apple Mac Book Pro is a great laptop. I got the Apple Mac Book Pro for a little over one year now and I have to tell you it is the best thing ever. I am on it everyday almost 24/7. It is a good size and is very light in weight, perfect for me to take it to and from school. The battery last like forever. It last me through out the school day and more on a full charge. I love all the apps, especially the photo booth.

The only bad thing I can say about this laptop is that it is a little pricey. Although the price is a little high, it is worth every penny. It is a very quality laptop. The last laptop I had, after a year or so the key board pieces starts falling off and the letters and numbers on them were all worn out you couldn't see them. So you could say it is a good price quality laptop.

I've had my Mac Book Pro for over two years now and I am very happy with it. It hasn't given me any problems and the quality of everything is wonderful. You never get any viruses and the speed is great. I love the form and desktop used through out the computer. It also allows the user to put their own style into it and makes it really personal. The sound is very good and the camera is a very cool part of the computer. I suggest this computer to anyone who uses the internet or typing features daily. The only thing is is that the 17 inch is pretty big so buy the right size for your daily needs. The battery life is pretty good, depends on what your doing for how long.

I won't mention any other names, but Mac has made it all worth my while. I have purchased other computers, but I have less worries with my MacBook Pro than any computer I've owned. Absolutely worth adjusting for!

The MacBook Pro by Apple is the best computer I've ever used. Before this one, I was a PC user and was frustrated by viruses and the slow speed. The transition from PC to Apple has not been difficult, at all. However, I am quite computer savvy.

I have had my MacBook for about a year and have never had a single problem with it. My sister and my dad have since bought the same MacBook after hearing my recommendations.

when i first got the mac pro i was amazed at it graphics. i love hoe smooth sailing. i love hoe easy it was to load pictures and sail through its mainframe. it came fully loaded with all the programs that i love to use like adobe illustrator and photoshop. a cd burner. i love the programs. it wasnt slow and loaded very fast and efficiently. i was able to create some of my best graphic design work. it wasnt to heavyy and was easy to walk around with. i loved the sleek design. it was a very pretty labtop. i enjoyed itsiithe experience.when
