I have newly become a Mac Addict! By no means am I an expert on Mac Mini or any Apple product but I do know what I like and and I can tell you that I like the Mac Mini and recommend it to anyone. I am a novice at using the Mac Mini but the learning curve I thought I would have from going from PC to Mac is much shorter and very entertaining.

Before owning a Mac, my son had convinced me that we should go Mac Mini and after purchasing, I was wondering now if I had made the right decision. Initially, I just sat back and stared at this tiny computer, wondering how something so small could do so much. I couldn't believe that this machine which was about 1/6th the size of my old PC could actually do what my old PC could do. Well, I was pleasantly surprised that that tiny computer, the Mac Mini could do what the old PC could do and then some.

I did some research on Apple products and the more I looked at the Mac Mini, the more impressed I became. I finally became more than impressed...

I have had my Mac Mini for 3 years now and love it! It was very easy to learn to use after having a HP for a few years! I like the compact style and will trade in for another Mini Mac when I am due for a new computer.

When my Dell laptop needed upgrading, I opted for a Mac Mini. I'm so glad I did. I have none of the virus problems seen in PC's, and the Tech Support has been outstanding. I purchased the Apple Care agreement with the computer and I did have to use it once. The optical drive needed replacing soon after it was purchased. I just took it to a Mac dealer, they replaced the part for free, and no further problem. The only thing I would change is the clumsy connector for the monitor. It's a connector connected to another connector. Every time I move the mini, the connection wiggles free. It's annoying.

The Mac Mini is surprisingly small, and to think before this I always had PC towers thatr were not as powerful. I really didn't realize just how much space was being used by the tower until I got my Mini. My wife and I downloaded too many things and had to tkae it to a computer repair shop, but not it worksd as good as new!

I purchased this little guy about 4 years ago and he's still going strong. It works on a laptop hd which doesn't seem to affect it negatively. I used this comp to switch from a pc to mac. I was able to use my other peripherals, this is one of the few macs that doesn't come with it's own. The price was reasonable and the performance impressive. I run my adobe programs on it. I did have one hiccup where it died, but I think it might have been my own fault. You should have a backup system anyway. After that I chose to upgrade the hd myself, which was not easy. Geting into that machine is hard. I wouldn't advise it unless it was a last ditch effort before getting a new one. However I did get in, make the switch, and got everything running better than ever. If you're looking to save money, or want a transition machine, this one is great....

We got so tired of blue screens from our Dell! My husband was so tired of the waiting and not knowing whether or not to allow a download. We almost gave up on having a home computer. Too stressful and expensive replacing every 3-4 years. We love the Mini Mac. Just enough for our e-mailing, surfing, photos and documents. My daughter is sending me her old iPod. Now i can get iTunes and truly be an apple convertor.

Wow, I got one of these for christmas last year. The Mac-mini has everything you could want in a mac, tissue sized. Its got great speed, killer graphics, and its Super portable. Yes, there are some disadvanged like lack of USB ports for external equipment...and thats about it.

Recommendation: B U Y:::::::

Great for college dorms, saves tons of space....

I got the Intel Mac Mini as a birthday present when it first came out with the Intel processor. I use it for everything. It's great because it is sooooo quiet (it replaced a noisy PowerMac G4), and yet has the power to handle lots of concurrent tasks.

I recently purchased a second one, that I use for a media computer connected to our TV. We're currently living in an area without much TV service, but I can podcast my favorite programs to fill in the void. It comes with Front Row software (all Macs do) and a remote, so it's easy to setup. All I needed was a DVI to video adaptor from Apple ($19.95) and I've got a media machine!

It does run a little hot when in it's normal position, but it easily stands on it's side and stays plenty cool, even here in the Caribbean.

The MAC mini has been a great replacement server for my old Windows 2003 box. It performs like a champ and with little to no maintenance. I've had it running for over a year now (on 24/7 hosting several websites) and I have not had any problems. I Upgraded the Ram to 2 gig and other than that I haven't done a thing to it. I use a regular "pc" mouse, a mac wireless keyboard and a sony monitor. It is the only server on my network of 2 laptops and 2 PC's. I couldn't be happier with it and can't wait to upgrade to Leopard! ...

I have worked on several Macs but this is the best for graphic design. Very compatible with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Have had this Mac 6 months and I have had no problems. Great computer, great price, great space saver, what more can I say.

I HAVE HAD MY MINI FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW. ITS MY FIRST ONE AND I LOVE IT. I HAD APPLE LAPTOPS PRIOR AND AND IMAC. BUT THIS IS MUCH BETTER FOR ME ANYWAY. ITS HOOKED UP DIRECTLY TO MY 32" FLAT SCREEN AND MY HOME THEATER SYSTEM. SO ITS PERFECT FOR MUSIC AND MOVIE DOWNLOADS AND I STILL GET MY WORK DONE.

I have been a PC user for 12 years and just now took the plunge to buy a Mac. I think it is super fast and has really great effects. It is fun to play around with and explore. Because this is my first Mac, I am still learning all the in's and out's of the computer.
The Mac Mini itself, it quite compact and easy to set up. It boots up in no time flat and has several built in functions I require such as parental controls and a back up utility.
I would recommend it to anyone!
