It is small and fits anywhere. The clip is nice so you know you will not lose it. I don't like that it does not show the song name though. I am not good with song intros, so I have to listen to each song for a while before I figure out whether I want to listen to it or not. Also not good if you are searching for a specific song to listen to....

Apple's Ipod Shuffle (1st Gen.) is okay, but I have had many problems with it and my computer. Generally, computers can take software from many different makers, but Apple needs to make their devices more compatible to other Operating Systems. (My computer is not old or out of date; its just not an Apple). Therefore, I did have problems with this ipod because I couldn't conveniently access its content or change its content. Other than that, if you have an apple computer, and if you don't care to see the screen on your ipod, or don't want very many songs, this is an okay product....

I love having my ipod shuffle for my runs. It is so lightweight and comfortable to use. It is so nice to be able to just switch songs. Great product!...

This Is A Great I pod If your just Starting out with an I POD. I Love how it Clips on to your Jacket. It Hold Large Amount of songs and Audio books that you can down load off I Tunes. Really the only problem I had was that it is small and easy to lose.

From the minute I received the iPod Shuffle from my husband, I fell in love!!

Of course, its main selling point is its size. For me, the size of the product (an inch or so) and the size of the storage space (1GB) is great -- but it's not for everyone. For example, it's not for the music lover who has thousands of songs in their library, nor is it for the person who likes to look at their iPod and see what song is playing and who it's by.

There are a couple (minor) things that I don't like:

The ear buds are not very comfortable.
Sometimes, it's hard to find a particular song I want to hear.
It didn't come in pink when I bought it, that option came out later! :)

There are a LOT of things I love:

It's so tiny, I can carry it in my wallet.
It clips wherever I want it to.
It doesn't flop around while I'm exercising or walking/running.
It holds more than enough songs for me.
It can switch between random song selection or go straight through your playlist.
It is very durable.
It doesn't need batteries!...

I loved this version of the shuffle! It was very easy to use and very convenient. I would take it with me on work outs and not have to worry about losing something that is very expensive. It was also not in the way of the workout because of its size....

An I-pod Shuffle was the ONLY thing my grandaughter wanted for Christmas. I had no idea what it was, but on my daughter's recommendation I ordered it from the Apple website. I placed the order on Sunday night with guaranteed free shipping and engraving. (more about the engraving later!) By Monday afternoon, I received an e-mail that it had been shipped. The route included: some small town in China, Shang-hai, Anchorage, Indianapolis, Memphis, and to me in Florida - by Friday morning before 9 a.m.!

Now I know grandmas aren't supposed to know about these things, but I could not believe how TINY it is! And I guess it really does hold all that music. On the other hand, you need a magnifying glass to read the engraving, but I guess that's OK since she asked to have "Popstar" before her name. But she's going to be one happy girl on Christmas morning to see that it's purple as she requested - "no other color."

I had purchased one of these IPOD Shuffles for my 7 year old son who very much enjoys music and childrens audio books. It is a life saver on long trips. He has had the shuffle for about 1 1/2 years and it is still a great little gadget. I highly recommend this product to anyone at any age. If you are a person who enjoys listen to music on a jog or any type of workout, this is for you. It light weight, great sound, and will pretty much clip to anywhere....

Purchased this product for a young man who tends to manage to break everything he touches. This has held up for over a year. It is used daily. It's very compact. Holds lots of music and it's easy to download and change the music. A big advantage to the shuffle is that it can be tucked away very easily and no one is even aware that you have it with you....

The iPod shuffle was and still is one of the best investments I have made. It is so easy to use and wonderful for exercising and everyday music listening. I run a lot. I always clip my shuffle to my shorts or shirt and it is definitely not bulky or uncomforable. I barely know I am even whereing an mp3 player. It is absolutely fantastic!...

I decided to get into the MP3 player scene about two years when I decided I could get an MP3 player at a decent price. I decided upon the Shuffle for several reasons:

1. In reading reveiws the iPods always got the best.
2. At the time, I was doing paint work which is rather strenuous work so I wanted something small and without a hard drive with moving parts.
3. It was ridiculously small so I could hang it around my neck and not even notice it.
4. It was the cheapest of the iPods with flash. The Nanos just came out and they were rather expensive. For paint work, it didn't make much sense to have an iPod with a screen either as the screen would get dirty quick.

At the time, I had about 30GB of music, so I knew I couldn't put a whole lot on the device. However, I knew that it would be enough to last me an 8 to 10 hour day.

Once I got the device, I was amazed at just how small it was. It was shorter than my index finger! It was also mostly flat and I noticed that the buttons could be locked......
