I received an iPod Nano for my birthday. This was my first player of this type. It was my time to step up into the new world. It has a great sound and is so easy to use. I think the quality is the best and that is why I chose to go with iPod. I like the choices of colors! The size is perfect for walking and doing housework. Before the iPod, I was using a Walkman, it worked fine but, was so bulky in comparison to the iPod. I was really nervous about setting it up and downloading music. I read the instructions and got started. I set up an account on itunes and everything went very smoothly. The whole process was much easier than I thought it would be. I was able to download CDs that I already owned first and they sounded great. Step two was to purchase music from itunes, this was a little intimidating but, so much easier than I ever expected. One of the nice things about itunes is they have tons of music...old and new, every song and artist I searched for I was able to find. Once I downloaded...
...

The design for the iPod Nano is very attractive. It fits just right in your palm. It's not as bulky as the iPod Touch. It is also really easy to use. Every single one of your songs are organized in a way that you can search them by artist, song title, album, etc. Extra features such as games are also included (my favorite game is the maze); however, your iPod will quickly run out batteries. They also have a new way to shuffle your songs without using the trackpad. All you need to do is just shake the iPod and it'll automatically switch to another song. iTunes is also a great program that is used with the iPod. It's easy to buy songs and sync them. If you're planning to add music videos onto an mp3 player, then I don't suggest you get the nano. The screen is rather small to view any kind of videos on there. The headphones included with the iPod is great too. You can hear the music really well. 8GB is more than enough for me. Only opt for more than 8GB if you're putting videos/movies. If...
...

I do like my apple 8gb don't get me wrong. On the other hand I have had a couple of problems with it like shutting down all of a sudden and the screen being hard to see. Another thing that is negative about it is that the battery life is very small. I am constantly having to charge it because is sucks up so much battery power. On the positive side I do like my ipod because it is small enough to keep with me when I run, it plays in my car very well and clear and it has a large memory capability. I also really like the choice of colors it comes in as well. I am not sure if I had to do it over again if I would choose the 8gb nano just because I have had a couple of problems with it, but it hasn't completely let me down. I think I would honestly go back to my older version of the nano because I didn't have as many issues. I switched because I am a girly girl and I liked the pink ipod. I you were considering buying one, consider saving your money because it is not the best purchase...
...

I received the Red Ipod as a gift and I think that it is great! I love using it and it is really easy and convenient to carry around. There is no where that I can't take this, it can fit perfectly into my pants pocket, purse, backpack or anywhere because of the ultra slim build. It can hold music, games, movies, TV episodes, pictures and all kind of things. The screen on this Ipod is small but the picture quality is great and you can watch your favorite shows anywhere that you go and no matter what time of day. The only thing that I really don't like is that the charge must be connected to your computer, and you have to purchase another/different charger in order to charge it from your wall. I wish it came with a charger like that because most of the time I am not on my computer to charge it, but besides that it is so easy to use, carry and have all my favorite music right at my finger tips. I love it!
...

This is my first iPod. I got my favorite color purple. It is neat. I can listen to music, watch movies, and view my pictures. It has so much memory I haven't even used half of what it can hold. It is easy to use.

I had one other mp3 player and it was hard to use and did not have as much memory. I love my iPod and would recommend it to anyone. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the earphones did not fit my ears well and had to get the marshmallow ones, they fit great.

If you are looking for an mp3 player I would greatly recommend the iPod Nano.
...

I purchased my iPod Nano this year and I am abosolutely in LOVE with it! I originally decided to get an iPod after going through a lot of cheaper mp3 players. At first I wasn't excited about paying that much for what I thought was just another mp3 player, but after all of my friends raving reviews I decided I would give it a try... Instant LOVE! My iPod was not only the nicest mp3 player I had ever had but also the prettiest, and easiest to use! With my past mp3 players, hooking them up to my computer was a nightmare, and most of the time I had to pay for software from the internet just to get the thing to work! With my iPod Nano all I had to do was plug it into the computer, follow a few simple steps, and it worked right away. iTunes was also the easiest music downloading program I had ever used. All it took was one or two clicks and my music was downloaded quick and always worked! iTunes will also sync your iPod Nano (or any other iPod you have) so that you can put C.D.s or music you...
...

I love my Ipod nano! I got the pink one and it is so cute. my only concern was that I wish itunes could switch from one computer to another but that is the same with all ipods.. one day.. and it scratches pretty easily. other than that i love it I bought this for myself last year for christmas I just wish i had more time to load the songs.. i made my itunes at my parents house and now have to go there everytime i want to upload it.. since i cant seem to change it to a new computer without deleting all my songs or it taking too long so i just do it that way.. but i still love it just wish my kitty would stop eating all my earphones this is getting expensive at 10 a pop she loves the texture of them and i guess thinks i keep buying her new toys! haha.. well that is not their fault though. of course. oh and sometimes i lose it in my purse cause it is soooo small but that is what i love about it i can slip it in my back pocket if i want
...

I've never really understood the "haters" - those people who just automatically hate the iPod because of its name and association. Sure, from the moment you purchase that shiny iPod object, you sign your soul over to "the corporation" known as Apple who mandates the iTunes download so you can manage your iPod, and purchases have to be in specified format to even play on the device, and for some inane reason Apple decided to change some configuration between the 4th and 5th generation nano that requires an adapter for it to be played on any "older" equipment, and any malfunction of the device REQUIRES that it be shipped back to Apple or an approved service center because you yourself cannot even access the thing...but, I digress. Despite the knowledge that Apple has taken quite a dictatorial role in the whole iPod approach, I simply adore this object. I purchased the very first nano some years ago, and have willingly upgraded to the newest iteration without a whimper. I currently...
...

I love my iPod nano 8GB. I could have got an MP3 player for less, but the IPod line is the standard that all the others aspire to.

I got the 8GB, and I was a little concerned that it would fill up quickly. However, I have put a LOT of music on it, and it is just a little over half full.

I like the feature where I can slide a button and the controls are locked. That way it cannot accidently change to another song because it bumps something in my shirt pocket.

I could not use the ear buds because my eats are funny shaped and ear buds do not stay in my ears. But that is not really the fault of Apple Computers. :)

I think the wheel-type control is a hoot. In the digital age, this product has a control like the volume knob on an old-fashioned TV or radio. It took me a little while to realize that is what it was doing, and I am old enough to remember those analog controls on electronics.
...

The color is gorgeous and overall I enjoy it.
...

I originally had a 32 GB iPod because I wanted to watch movies on it. After downloading a few movies from iTunes, I found that watching movies on my iPod was more of a struggle than a luxury. The ideal place to watch a movie on your iPod is on a long car trip, but the glare of the sun made it very hard to see the screen and I had to hold the iPod extremely close to watch the movie. After a slight disappointment with my movie watching experience, I traded my 32 GB in for a brand new 8 GB nano iPod. I have fallen in love with my new nano iPod! It is much smaller than the 32 GB iPod so I can keep it in my purse or throw it in my back pack. The screen is smaller but offers great graphics! I really love how you can shack the iPod to shuffle songs! It makes listening to music fun and very amusing! Another perk for me was being able to select my iPod from an array of colors. The classic iPod only comes in black and silver and while I did not mind having a black iPod, my new...
...
