busycharles says "A romantic mystery" about Angels Fall

It was a good book, it had me wondering the whole time as to what was going on, was the woman crazy....

It was a bit slow at first. This unfamiliar woman arrives in a town and because you know so very little of the woman at first, you almost feel like you missed something. Thankfully you will get caught up further along in the book!

I feel if I say too much more I will be giving away the story, so I guess I better end my review here. It's not a must read, but a good read!
...

Roxann831 says "Slow read at first, but makes up for it later" about Angels Fall

This book moved a little slow at first. I almost stopped reading. After the first few chapters the pace started to pick up and I became hooked. After that point I couldn't put it down. It has funny moments, sweet, scary, just an array of emotions. Once again, the Lifetime movie is horrible compared to the book. Once you've read the book you want to slap your head and go "WHO would cast Heather Locklear to play her???"....

raneemichael says "The first Nora Roberts book I read, now I'm addicted!" about Angels Fall

I had never even heard of Nora Roberts when a friend handed me this book. I was hooked after three pages. The entire book took me 4 days to read and I work full time, have three kids and attend college. I didn't put it down. The story is fast paced, grabbing your attention and keeping it. The twists and turns will keep you on your toes until the final page....

nightengale7 says "Hilariously charming and full of love and laughter!" about Angels Fall

I had never read a Nora Roberts novel before, but a friend loaned me this one and told me to read it. I am so glad I did! It was a great read from the first page to the last, and all that talk about gourmet food really made it a winner for me (I love fine foods, it's a weakness of mine). If you haven't read it, do it now! (Seriously, right now, go on, scoot!) Best of all, there weren't any raunchy sex scenes like you find with some romance novelists. It was subtle but yet descriptive enough that you got the general idea, instead of every gruesome detail....

kimrun says "Very enjoyable and keeps you guessing." about Angels Fall

This is a romantic mystery story. It is quite suspenseful and can play with your mind. As I was reading, I was trying to guess who the bad guy was. It made me think about the story as it was happening and I had a hard time putting it down. It is a good page turner and you are really pulling for the heroine(who is a little mystery herself) during the whole time....

As usual Nora Roberts has done it again. She never fails to draw me into the storys she writes. As I was reading this I could see this one play out like a movie would, not in a predictable way, but in a way I could picture the scenes playing out in my mind. I would recommend this book to any one looking for a good read. ...

hoybabe says "whats going on" about Angels Fall

Nora Roberts is one of my favorite Authors. Angels Fall was a wonderful book. It keeps you on you toes through out the entire book. After all the time past that people did not beleive her,she was finally vindicated. Many strange things happen in this book. It makes you wonder, is she really crazy? Then you think no way. You pick different endings the whole time you read. And surprises are around every corner. She never gives up either....

ladym33 says "Why Is She Running" about Angels Fall

Nora Roberts has a wonderful talent for combining mystery in romance. I recently read a really good book by her called Angel's Fall.

The Story

Reese is a lady of mystery. She is definitely running from the something but what? When Reese finds herself just at the edge of a lovely little town called Angels Fist with last of her money and broken down car she accepts help from a kind stranger and decides to stay for a couple weeks just long enough to get her car fixed, and get a job and earn a little money, then she will get back on the road.

She soon finds that she actually likes the town, she likes her job, her new boss, and she has made a friend. All is not perfect however, while hiking in the woods she sees a man murdering a woman in the distance. She got a good look at the woman but not a real good look at the man. When she runs off in a panic she runs into a handsome author by the name of Brody who has made Angels Fist his home in recent years. He helps Reese get to the police department...
...
