Annie's is the only Mac & Cheese product you will find at our house. Not only does it contain no additives or fillers, but it actually tastes good! My 8 year old daughter has been requesting Annie's ever since she was able to eat her first solid foods! ;-)

You will never find a box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese at our house. I have been an active label reader for many years now...call it a hobby if you like! But I enjoy knowing the ingredients I am feeding my daughter (and myself) and try to avoid chemicals, preservatives and additives at all costs! Besides if it tastes better...you have nothing to lose by giving it a try.

I too try to buy several of them only when they are on sale. Otherwise they are pricey!
...

Just as I judge any ice cream company by the type of "Just Plain Vanilla (JPV)" it makes, so it is that I put Amy's Kitchen to the ultimate test by checking out their "Macaroni and Cheese made with Organic Pasta" (not to be confused with their "Rice Mac and Cheese" which I haven't tried yet).

Amy's Macaroni and Cheese made with Organic Pasta is a rich, satisfying dish -- plenty of smooth cheddar sauce and chewy, al dente pasta to say nothing of a nice short list of ingredients. No fillers or preservatives here. All ingredients are organic and include: macaroni, lowfat milk, cheddar cheese, grade AA butter, organic rice flour, sea salt and annatto. (Yes? Did someone just say my name?!!)

The contents of the nine ounce box is one serving which contains 410 calories with 140 calories from fat. There are 16 grams total fat, ten grams saturated fat, zero trans fat, 40 mg. cholesterol, 590 mg. sodium, 47 grams total carbs, three grams dietary fiber, six grams sugars, and 16 grams protein. ...
...
