The American Express Platinum card is a great card for travelers, especially those busienss travelers like me. I often travel around the country and and and I find that the card is very useful when traveling. . . . . . . When going to the airport just show your american express platinum card to many airport lounges and avoid the rif-raff. They usually offer better / faster wireless internet access than the standard, usually over 10-20MB in the lounges. Just bring your laptop and surf away for free. I also use my american express platinum card at hotels, airport kiosks and car rentals. I strongly recommend using it to book travel, because when you travel and forget to bring your airfare printout, they can bring it up via your american express platinum card just by swiping it at the terminal. They just swipe it and it comes right up immediattely. The best part about the american express platinum card is the customer service.

I've been using American Express for almost a year now. The customer service can't be beat. No matter what concern I have, it is handled promptly and in a very friendly mannner by the AMEX employees. The rewards are fantastic-airline points, traveling for free, airline lounges. It"s all around great, except for the fact that it isn't taken by all merchants. I hate that I can't just carry it and expect to be able to use it everywhere like I could with a Visa or Mastercard. Hopefully, as time progresses it will be accepted as universally as the other cards....

Hey this is a great card even better if you get the business edition! 5 percent back on all kinds of things...

Just one con to it you won't see any of your cash back until the second billing cycle! Other than that... this card rocks!

I've used it at office supply stores and gas mostly. Can also use it for shipping and other items with a good CB return (5%). All other items you receive cash back for as well however it's only at 1%

The Platnuim card is a really good card if you do a lot of traveling. The Membership rewad points on it are really great. you can use them for so many different things. Gift cards a really great use for them. The gift cards are great for gifts. No matter what american express is the way to go.
