I really appreciate the American Express web site's features. I have set up my account to get payment reminders a few days before my bill is due. It is fast, easy, and free to pay online. Their system remembers your bank accounts, so you don't always have to have your checkbook out to transfer funds, and you can do it from the American Express site if you do not have or do not use Bill Pay features through your bank. American Express offered me great rates on balance transfers, and the transfers went through quickly and painlessly. They never bug me with annoying offers, junk mail, or anything not relevant to my account. I definitely appreciate that....
