We don't have this particular model, but our 7-year old Amana BB20V1S (19 cu ft, bottom freezer, stainless, cabinet depth) is a piece of junk. It's never worked well. The condenser went out within the first year (fortunately was still on warranty). It periodically just decides not to cool. The fit of the interior parts (shelves, drawers) is crummy. The repair man said "Amana used to be something special but it isn't any more." Newer models might be better but we'll never buy Amana again.

My Amana refrigerator is a great buy. I love the style...I got the one with the handles built into the top of the doors so there is no metal handle hanging off the front of you refrigerator!

There is more room in my freezer than other models and I like that feature.

The glass shelves are somwhat easy to remove and clean. I sometimes have trouble getting them back in the correct slots.

The bottom of this refrigerator sometimes gets very warm. In fact, my sisters dog sleeps in front of the refrigerator to keep warm in the winter...lol.

We purchased our refrigerator when we moved into our new home about 4 years ago. After doing a lot of research on what is the best model that provided the most room and the easiest to store food, we decided on this Amana model.

This refrigerator has a freezer drawer on the bottom with a pull out shelf that is great for getting to the foods that you need when you need them.

The refrigerator part has a lot of storage with even more storage on the inside of the door for gallon containers of milk or the large orange juice containers. We like to have family get togethers and make a lot of food that needs to stored until the party, there is always room in this fridge. There always seems to be room for the leftovers as well. The other great thing is the drawers for produce and vegtables that have there own temprature settings to keep everything as it should be.

We would highly recommend this refrigerator for anyone looking to buy a new one. The storage is great and it is very easy...

When we built our new home two years ago we searched everywhere for a new refrigerator. It seems that they're all so fancy these days! All I wanted was a side by side with ice and water in the door. Not lazy susans or television sets or little doors that opened in the door so you could reach in and get something without opening the door (what is that all about?). Finally we settled on the Amana fridge. These are manufactured by Maytag, which have always received pretty good consumer reviews. It's got the adjustable glass shelves that are equipped with a rim around the full shelf so if you have a spill on the top shelf it's not a tragedy all the way down to the vegetable bins. We've been really happy with our choice. The shelves in the door are deep enough to store a gallon of milk, and they're all adjustable so you can keep your ketchup and other tall bottles high or low, depending on who uses it most. The icemaker gives us our choice of cubed or crushed ice, and dispenses it fairly...
