Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara is a great product that is easy to use. I purchase the black brown color. I am an African American female and have small lashes. When I put on the Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara, my eyelashes appear longer and thicker. My eyelashes are not heavy and they do not feel as though I have caked on a lot of mascara. The Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara is easy to remove. I simply hold a warm rag over my lashes and pat. After about three pats, the makeup is removed. I do not use the waterproof version because I don't like a lot of preservatives and additives near my eyes. Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara is affordable. I use it in combination with the Almay Liquid Eyeliner in brown black. The Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara is affordable and can be purchased at local grocery stores, beauty supply stores, drugstores and stores like Target, Walmart and Kmart.

I love this mascara. I have short, thin lashes but when I wear this they look a lot longer. It is not clumpy and it washes off very easily. It is also great for people who wear contacts. It doesn't irritate your eyes at all. I love this mascara. I've tried tons but this is by far the best. Almay Nourishing One Coat mascara lives up to its name! I highly reccomend this product!

Oh come on Almay, you can do better than this!!!! I forgot I wasn't buying Almay mascara any more and bought this. It was on sale and I was rushing to pick up diapers and remembered I needed mascara. This was truly an impulse purchase.

One coat of Almay Nourishing mascara gave me lashes that looked the same, except colored all the way to the tip. The claim on the package says 100% bigger lashes. No way. But I do like the natural look, so ok. I always buy waterproof because I hate smudging. Well, during a very fun Wii game of tennis with my hubby, I was laughing pretty hard and ended up with a grey shadow under my eyes. So maybe it is waterproof but not laugh proof. Then my eyes began to sting and I had to take a break from tennis to wash my eyes and rinse them out!

I don't ask much from my mascara. Just stay put and look nice! And try not to irritate me while doing it. Almay should be able to pull that off. This time I will remember...no more Almay mascaras for me.

Recently I've been put on a budget so when I saw that Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara was on sale I went for it. Now, I'm the type of girl who likes to look natural in the day and uber glam at night. This mascara fits my day look wonderfully but for night it just doesn't cut it. After the tube was gone I did see a difference in my lashes. They were "nourished". There were a few problems I saw with this mascara and they are as follows: (1.) if you get it in your eyes it is irritating, as a contact wearer this was a problem, and this was the number one reason this mascara didn't cut it for my night routine. (2.) it rubs off too easy. one very hot California summer day I was walking through an outdoors farmer market when I decided to rub my eye...BIG MISTAKE! The mascare instantly smeared across my face as if I had rubbed just applied liquid eyeliner. Horrible mess. (3.) the most non-waterproof product i've ever used! Long story short, don't wear this product admist a waterballoon fight....

I usually do not buy Almay products because I think they are too expensive. When I needed to buy more mascara, I went to the store. I had a couple of coupons from a couple of different brands. One coupon I had was for the Almay one coat nourishing Mascara, plus it was on sale at the store I was at. Which made this a pretty good deal. It looks fantastic. It actually looks like I have eyelashes. It takes a little bit of work to wash the mascara off, but it's worth it. I use the color black/brown. At first I thought it was too dark. After using for a few days, I decided this is the product I will buy whenever needed. It is the perfect color and is easy to apply. I have not had any issues with clumping. I wear glasses. Sometimes my eyes just don't stand out enough with other brands or colors. My eye look beautiful with Almay One CoatNourishing Mascara.

I can't use most mascaras because they make my eyes swell. Even though this one is supposed to be allergen-free I still had problems. The good part was that Almay gave me my money back.

I have super sentisitive skin and eyes, especially. Almy is the only kind of mascara that I can use and not have my eyes irritated. About a year ago I switched to another brand that irritated my eyes to the point of almost swelling shut so I quickly switched back to Almay and have not had any trouble since. I highly reccomend Almay to anyone with sensitive skin. It doesn't take a ton of coats to make your eye lashes long and lustrious, it curls your eyelashes and is very easy to wash off.

I have never used an Almay make-up product before, and I had a coupon for $1.00 off any Almay item, so the mascara junkie that I am bought the Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara. I should have known that this mascara would be nothing fancy because of the packaging alone. It comes in a plain, easy to miss, black and white package - not a bright, eye-catching, colorful tube like other brands.

Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara claims to:

Give you 100% thicker lashes
Condition lashes with aloe and vitamin B5
No smudging or flakes

I almost gave this mascara 2 stars because of how it feels when you are applying it. You know how mascara feels when it is old and it's time to throw it away? Well that is how Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara feels. It doesn't go on smoothly and the texture of it doesn't allow you to apply more than one coat, nicely.

Your lashes will get a little darker and longer, but they do not get separated or volumized. Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara didn't give...

After discovering that my Cover Girl mascara is quite toxic on the Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database (I was wondering why my eyes are so irritated after using it), I found the least toxic one out of the ones I can afford and decided to try it. I would give it all five stars if it wasn't for the so-so applicator, maybe I just incidentally got a deformed one.

Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara is a keeper though, my eyes no longer itch from using mascara like they used to, even if I don't wash it off before bed (bad habit). It stands up well to wetness, quite affordable, great color (I have the blackest black), it isn't at all clumpy and goes on smooth. You do need eye makeup remover to get it off completely. The packaging is attractive. If it wasn't for the wand I would call it perfect!...

I got this Almay One Coat Mascara free with a rebate. I am sooooo glad I tried it!!! This is now my favorite and ONLY mascara! It truly is one coat mascara.

The first time I used it I noticed a dramatic difference from any mascara I had used before. It goes on very smoothly with no clumping. It appears to be much thicker than other mascara as it only took half the brush strokes to get a nice even covering on my lashes. It just seems "richer" and "smoother" than others. I am going to use all my coupons and stock up and quit my search for the perfect mascara. Oh yes it washes of with warm water and cleanser nicely. This mascara is a definite keeper!!...

Almay's One Coat mascara is great! I have used this product for at least 10-12 years. I have only found one mascara to be better and that is one by Clinique (which I recieved as a sample/gift from a friend). The Clinique is 16.00+ a tube! I am not spending THAT much money for MASCARA!!! The Clinique was only slightly better than the Almay, but that is why I did not give it 5 stars....

The Verdict: Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara is still one of my favorite mascaras as it does not clump, the fat brush separates nicely, it does not run as much as others, and leaves my lashes soft. It's practically perfect!

Just the Facts: I have tried tons of different mascaras but I always end up going back to Almay One Coat Nourishing mascara. Maybelline used to make my favorite mascara which came in an ivory colored tube but apparently they discontinued it so I had to find a new one. In my quest to find a replacement I tried the Almay One Coat brand and found that it is very, very similar.

It also comes in a white tube but has a silver top. Almay One Coat has what's called a teddy bear brush. It's tapered on one end and very fat and bushy in the middle so it holds gobs of mascara but all those bristles keep too much from globbing onto my lashes and also separates my lashes very nicely. It does not flake off during the day nor run if I cry or get it a little wet like...
