I have seen All Recipes web site and cookbooks. I enjoy both of them. I can find any kind of recipe that I am looking for. It is easy to use so that anyone can use the web site. From the beginner computer user to the experienced user. I like web sites that have pictures of the dish I am trying to make. It helps to know if it looks like it is sappose to. I also like the feature that will adjust the amount the recipe will make, it comes in handy for smaller families.

Allrecipes.com is a multi-layered site: in the most basic use of the site, you can search their site for the title of any recipe. Want to get more specific? You can search for ideas based on ingredients you do and don't want for your dish. if your pantry looks like mine, full of random cans that I can't think of a use for, all you have to do is type in the choices you have, and the site identifies recipes that match what you have on hand. Most recipes have photos. In addition to recipes, there are how-to articles to help out those of us who are not culinary genuises.

Recipes can be altered to suit your needed quantity and measurements are available in metric or US. If you're concerned about your health, each recipe offers the nutritional information so you can make sure your dietary concerns...

Having just paid for a supporting membership at Allrecipes, I am very pleased with the features and I will be maintaining it. Everything functions as they said it would. I can created modified private recipes off the posted ones quickly and easily and save to my personal cook books. They also offer blogging and I have found the ability to have a community with that very nice.

The offer private cookbooks for free to all members unlike other sites which require you pay for them and also included is the ability to enter your own personal recipes and save. Navagation is easy. You also don't have to wade thru pages and pages of duplicate recipes that may only have amounts or one ingredient different or are even exact duplicates.. You also know that these recipes have been examined and are on there because they are worth being on there not because it was someone's whim. It may not have as large a database but it has a more accurate one. The database at Allrecipes is accurate...

Allrecipes.com is an easy to use website that helps you find recipes for different occasions, ingredients, experience, whatever you're looking for. I've used many recipes from their site and most have been fantastic....

I stumbled across the site about a year ago when trying to find new recipes. I'm one of those experimental cooks so I'll try anything at least once. It has been the main source for filling my personal cook book ever since. Recipes are submitted by people just like me. The site allows others who have tried a recipe to not only rate it but offer suggestions to improve it. In my opinion the reviews make this site. You can take the original recipe and ideas from each review and make your own unique dish. I've turned out several restaurant-quality meals right from my own kitchen thanks to allrecipes.com. ...

As I am a cook in real life (restaurant and home), I refer to AllRecipes.com ALL the time. I'm also a reviewer there. (same username as here). Generally I'll start searching by rating, but the top rated are certainly not the only ones I use.

Be sure to read the reviews from the members. They're nearly all experienced cooks, and offer great tips and tweaks to the original recipes.

Allrecipes is by far the best website I have found for great recipes. Once a member of the site (membership is completely free) - you can review/rate recipes, post photos of the foods you make from the site, post personal pics, post in the 'Recipe Exchange' (a forum for users, where you can request recipes, ask questions, or just chat)...it actually is quite addicting....

It's a social network of foodies and a great resource for the casual cook as well, as userd share,download and review recipes from the kitchens of other users, their Mom and Grandmoms. I love this website, as busy as I am its so stressful to come home from a long day at work and decide what i'm going to cook, so all I have to do is go to allrecipes.com and search, if its a casserole I want all I have to do is type casserole in the search box and viola you get tons of casserole recipes. You can save all your favorite recipes into a recipe box. You can also create a shopping list of all the ingredients you need and print it out.

How simple is that!!!!

I started using All Recipes and it is all I will use now to find recipes I am looking for. Users submit their recipes and All Recipes will figure up the nutritional values based on the ingredients used. User rate the recipes after they try it so you wont get stuck making something that isn't any good. Users upload their pictures of the recipe so you can see what it looks like after it is made. Let me tell you some of them look professional made and look soooo delicious!...

I love AllRecipes.com for many reasons. Here are just a few:

1) Many recipes to match any request! I just searched for recipes that contain Tuna and Elbow mac and received 11 results! That may not seem like a lot, but it is for those two specific ingredients.

2) I can search by ingredients! As I did above! Today I realized we had a lot of Elbow mac, and I was in the mood for Tuna, so I can actually search for these ingredients and find recipes containing them. It's so much easier than looking in a book trying to find something that matches. I can also search by Ingredient's I DON'T Want, Special Considerations (such as Vegetarian meals only), Prep Time, and more!!

3) I can save recipes as I go! As I read through these 11 recipes, I don't have to memorize them on the spot. I can save each one I like to my recipe box as I go and I can easily find them later without having to search. Usually when I'm searching for a dinner idea, I save it to the recipe box and come back when...

My favorite part about this site is that you can not only search for ingredients that you want to use but also to exclude ingredients that you don't want which is awsome for someone who has any food allergies or anything like that!!...

The BEST peanut butter cookie recipe ever and many more!! You can find anything here, either by title or by ingredient searches, where you can specify those that you want and those that you don't. The quantity of the item can be changed, and PRESTO the ingredient list adjusts the amounts!! Always check out the reviews - some recipes aren't highly rated, so skip them and find a better one by clicking on a similiar one listed on the top left of the screen. Some great tips or variations can a.so be found in reviews. Pictures are real and sent in by real people. You can submit recipes and pictures if you would like....

After I got married I decided I needed to learn how to cook. I have always love to be in the kitchen with my mother and sisters, but anytime I tried to make anything, it never turned out. I loved to cook, but I was just not good at it. Until I found Allrecipes.com. I was hooked at this point.

There is a lot of variety on Allrecipes.com. I like how it is so simple to look for recipes, and I do like the fact that you can read reviews from real people who have tried them to know if they do or do not work. It's really nice to know if you need to add a little more or less of something.

You can browse the site as you please, or you can register for free. I would recommend that you register for free because you get the option to be able to save recipes in like a virtual recipe book. This allows you to easily look at the recipes you like, and print a shopping list of the ingredients you will need to make something. I like this feature and use it often. ...
