I have chronic shouler pain that is present every day. It particularliy flares up after certain activities such as raking leaves, heavy lifting and many other situations. The only thing that offers real relief is Aleve. It is a great product that works fast and is extremely effective. I have complete confidence in this product and often recommend it to my friends and family. Once I take the Aleve, before I realize it I suddenly notice my pain is gone. It just subsides quietly and stays away for a long time. It has been an effective product for me for a very long time and and I am satisfied consumer. It is a little pricey but is worth every penny. It works for back pain as well as my shoulder pain. I carry it with me all the time and I find the pills are easy to follow. I count on Aleve to get me out of pain and will remain a loyal customer. It is a reputable company producing an effective pain reliever.

Health has never been a great worry for me. Other than my birth (and to visit sick people), I have never spent time in a hospital and other than my bouts with annoying sinus blockage and drainage, I rarely experience any type of bodily discomfort. I don't even get headaches or experience body aches very much but when I do, I usually rummage the medicine cabinet for some quick relief. And more often than not, the drug that finds its way into my bloodstream is Aleve, a product that has been relieving pain since 1994.

Pain Reliever Commentary:

Aleve is sold in several forms, but the one of which I am most familiar is the small, capsule shaped tablet. These small tablets are very easy to take, mainly due to their size, and a glass of water is all that is needed to get them down the throat and on their way to pain relief. Aleve is sold in a small, tamper- resistant bottle, making it safe for those with little children.

I suffer from spinal arthritis which causes inflamation, muscle pain, and nerve pain.I use prescription aleve(naproxen)to treat my pain.But it might take and hour or two before I feel relief.I went into the drug sote when I forgot to take my medicine and didn't have it with me and picked up Aleve liqui-gels. Aleve liqui-gels' two pill dose are only 60 mg less than my prescription medicine.But the liqui-gels worked much faster.Within 20 minutes I was feeling relief.

I now regularly use Aleve liqui-gels to treat my arthritis pain because of the quick relief.I don't always like to take medicine daily and would rather treat my pain as I have it but with the prescription medicine being so slow to work it becomes of little use. With Aleve liqui-gels I can take the medicine only when I need it and over all I use less medicne because of this.

I don't really have any adverse side effect and I make sure i take it with food. It has been a great aide to treating my back pain.

FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS NOW I HAVE GONE TO DOCTORS ABOUT MY BACK PAIN. I'VE WENT THROUGH THERAPY, X-RAYS,CHIROPRACTERS,AND PLENTY OF PAIN KILLERS. THEY STILL TELL ME THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY BACK. THEN SOMEONE I WORK WITH SUGGESTED ALEVE. I TAKE THREE PILLS AT A TIME, BUT I ONLY HAVE TO DO IT ONCE A DAY AND NO MORE BACK PAIN FOR THE DAY. I USED TO TAKE PAIN KILLERS EVERY 3 HOURS TO KEEP THE PAIN AWAY. I HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT ALEVE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE.

Last year I found out that I had a herniated and a bulging disc along with other issues with my spine. Surgery was recommended but although I had some pain, I believed it was manageable so I refused surgery. I tried some over the counter medications such as Thera-Gesic Maximum Strength Pain Relieving Creme which really didn't work too well but I was able to manage it with Ibuprofen 800 mg.. Earlier this year, I suffered a secondary injury to my neck and unfortunately, I have been out of commission since April with chronic pain in my neck, back and shoulders. At times, the pain was so unbearable it would bring tears to my eyes. Surgery is slated for October of this year but in the mean time, I needed something to help me get through the day. I was prescribed several pain medications that included Hydrocodone and Flector Patches. The Hydrocodone didn't touch the pain and upset my stomach. I have a bad back. And a bad hip. And a bad shoulder. And both knees have seen better days. I'm not ready for a rocking chair, though. Aleve knocks down my chronic joint pain, lets me get a good night's sleep, and gets me moving in the morning.

I first used Aleve in 1993 or 1994. I was having a terrible night with menstrual cramps and took one of the Aleve tablets my daughter was using for knee pain. Within 20 minutes, my pain was gone and I thought to myself, "Here's something that works like it's supposed to the first time." I was a fan.

I've always had back problems but they started getting worse in my mid-30s. By the time my 40s rolled around, several old sports injuries were starting to give me trouble during cold, damp weather. On those really bad days, I turned to Aleve and the pain stopped. I have to add that my disposition improved as well. Chronic pain will wear you down.

With all of the hype and demand from television ads jumping around from one product to the next it can be hard to know sometimes what the "best" product really is. The ice is especially thin when it comes to those items relating to one's health. Like so many other consumers I am cost concious but I aslo want to know that i am getting the best "bang for my buck" I have a limited income, so naturally cost is an important factor for me. I tried some of the other over the counter drugs and after some time of taking my body has seemed to build an immunity to most of what is out there. I began taking Aleve for menstral discomfort about ten years ago and have stuck to it ever since. It still is the only pain reliever that I can rely on to keep up with me. It lasts all day long without wearing out in the middle of the day like some of the other brands that I have tried. I have had migrains for many years. I have been prescribed different medications for these headaches. Nothing seemed to help. I have even had a shot a few times by my family physician, which takes away the pain, but is an inconvienience to go to the doctors offices to receive it. Then my doctor suggested Aleve (Naproxin). I take 500 mg . when the headache begins and I can even take it again in the evening if I still am experiencing pain. I have found this is a great remedy to my problem. I hate to think that the government is going to put restrictions on how I will be able to buy this products, or even take it off the market. I can see how people can overdose on medications, but it is the individuals responsiblity to monitor what they take and the correct dosage. Thousands of people self medicate everyday and never have a problem with over dosing. Why should anyone tell me what I can and cannot take for my pain. I have and I will continue to take Aleve for, not only my headache but also...

My son and I are in a lot of pain most days. My son has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Some days he is in a lot of pain. To relieve his pain he takes Aleve Liquid Gels. The gel caps don't totally alleviate the pain, but they do lighten it. Another big plus for the Aleve Gel caps is that they don't upset his stomache. As his mother, any product that helps him, is one that I will recommend. Until there is another product to help his pain, we will continue using the Aleve Liquid Gels.

I also use the gel caps. I clean houses for a living, so as you can imagine I experience a lot of aches and pains also. I have been cleaning houses for 9 years and it's beginning to take a toll on my body. I use the gel caps to relieve the pain, and from my own personal experience I can tell you that they really do help.

Aleave is great , It helps for just about any type of pain you are having may it be back pain or cramps. Take 2 in the begining and there after take 1 if needed. Always take this with food in your stomache. trust me I learned this many times the hard way. Even if you just take a couple crakers and 2 pieces of bread it will help you. many years ago this medication used to only be available by perscription from your doctors now it is great just finding it over the counter at your local drug store or community store. Aleave has help in in easing my sprained ankle pain to cram. It it a fast working medication and works usually in thirty minutes or so. generally i lay back and relaxe once I take the first 2 then should I continue to have pain after the time period is wearing off I only take one pill and that seems to do the trick in relieving the pain.

I have tried all kinds of different pain relievers, and I have yet to find something as effective as aleve. It works really well on any kind of pain for me, especially the excruciating pain of menstrual cramps. I also like that I need to take far fewer pills to do the job than any other pain reliever. Typically with others you need to take a few pills every four hours, with aleve you can take 2 pills and the pain is typically gone for about 24 hours. It is nice to know that when I am in pain I do not have to take a ton of different pills, especially since I othewise do not take medication. Aleve is also available in smaller to go sizes that fit perfectly in your purse, that way they are handy when you need them without having to carry around a bulky bottle of medicine just in case. I think that aleve is great for any type of pain you could possibly have. I have used it for years and years!

I never realized I hit the road that hard when I fell down. (chasing my dog)

It wasn't till 3AM that I awoke to an extreme pain running through my leg.

I couldn't figure out if I tore a ligament or had a broken leg.

Then I remembered I had some Aleve (in my garage of all places)

I took 1, then I took a nap.

When I woke up pain had disappeared but that was only temporary.

I had to take 2 more Aleve's and that did the trick.

I was able to fall asleep on my side with a pillow in between.

My pain went from a 10 to a 4.

Woke up, today's a new day, pain level = 1

I am a 60 year old woman who suffers from rheumatiod arthritis and I have trouble taking medications because they don't seem to agree with me, but I can and do take Aleve, and it is the best thing I have found for my arthritis.

I am a Christian and I enjoy reading Christian books, mainly about the Amish people. I'm a pretty boring person to visit with!
