babydollbella says "Wash your hands instead and save the cash" about Airborne

Airborn, wells lets start out by saying that the comercials do it more justice that the actual medicine does. I have used this just before a few recient airplane flights that I have had. With people coughing all around me, I was really hoping that this product would do as it says and keep the germs away. I guess I should have know better. My stomach was in knots after taking it the three times that I took it. Not only that, but it seems to leave a very weird taste in your mouth after you take it. Twice I ended up sick as can be. I think Airborn leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn't recommend this product because well the price of it just doesn't seem to work with the outcomes of taking the medicine itself. My suggestion... eat lots of oranges, take your vitamins and wash your hands. Trust me, it is a lot less expensive to buy hand sanitizer than Airborn. Buy soap, not Airborn.
...

kk55 says "Love this product" about Airborne

So here we go with the airborne thing. People say it didn't prevent me from getting sick, or it didn't make my cold go away. Well, the thing is, it is an immunity booster, it is supposed to help boost your immune system to shorten the length of the cold you have. And I believe it does that. It has worked for me. The few times I have been sick I have taken it and I never really get the cold completely. The only bad thing I have to say is that no matter what flavor you get, it tastes nasty. I just don't like the way things fizz in your mouth. The way I have learned to fixed that is that instead of dissolving it in a whole cup of water like it tell you to on the instructions on the box, I just dissolve it in a small shot of water and take it like that. It takes longer to dissolve, but in my opinion it goes down easier. Hats off the the teachers who created this product, I think it is a wonderful thing.
...

Airborne has become a staple in my home. I started using this after my sister recommended it. She works in a pharmacy and is exposed to just about every type of sick out there. Whats even better is they now have one for kids.
...

ElizabethAnnR says "Airborne helped me avoid colds." about Airborne

Airborne is a blessing. When I am going to be around people with colds, I just take Airborne. It helps me avoid being sick with the same cold.

I have a habit of taking Airborne when flying. There are many people in a confined area and you never know what sort of germs you are going to encounter. This is a preventive measure.

Taking Airborne when going to a movie or attending a concert is also a wonderful way to protect yourself from unknown germs. The more people you are around, the more germs ther are.

This would also be a good to take when you are going to be around children. They are exposed to so many germs when in school or just playing with their friends. Wash their hands often but protect yourself by taking Airborne.

I also take Airborne when visiting a hospital or nursing facility. I always say that if you aren't sick when you become a patient in a hospital, just wait. You will be. Hospitals simply have more germs than our bodies can manage.

Airborne is a self-defense product and...
...

I go to school full-time, work full-time and am married with a dog... as well as actively involved within my church, so I have absolutely no time to take off for an illness. I work in a retirement home for senior citizen and see many types of germs on a daily basis. At the beginning of the flu season, this year, I started taking Airborne (as well as a flu shot) and have not gotten sick yet. I continue to take airborne at least three times a week to help prevent any illnesses I may come in contact with on a regular basis.
...

I have used Airborne for several years and I enjoy their products. Whenever I start getting a sore throat or I feel a heavy feeling in my sinuses or on my forehead, I break out the Airborne. I have used several different flavors and they all taste fine. My kids liked the grape flavor the best and so did I. I tried the nighttime apple cider flavor and it was great so now during the fall and winter time I heat up my water to drink my Airborne. The next day I feel much better.
...

jenniferngreene says "We always have Airborne in the cabinet!" about Airborne

I am a hairstylist. Every cold season I am exposed to so many germs. I am constantly washing my hands and cleaning door knobs and telephones. But I almost always get sick. I get Airborne as soon as I feel a cold coming on. And I drink 4 or 5 a day.

I actually like the way it tastes. It dissolves really quickly in water. I usually mix it with less water than recommended so that it doesn;t taste so watered down and I can drink it faster. I think It really makes a difference in the recovery time for cold.

My husband is a Marine, so he doesn't have the option of calling in sick. He starts drinking Airborne as soon as he starts to feel sick, but also as soon as I do. He can't risk being exposed to the germs. He notices that it helps. He and I would both recommend Airborne to anyone who is in a lifestyle that exposes them to many people. Especially teachers, nurses, any customer service, and hair stylists.

angie23 says "I'm so glad someone invented Airborne" about Airborne

I know many people say that it is all in your head and that products like this really does not work but I think it does. I love Airborne. I think it was a great invention!!! I hate the taste of it when it is disolved in water, I usually disolve mine in orange juice. I use to just take Vitamin C or Echinacea when I felt like I was getting sick, but this seems to be much better for me. And if it is just a placebo effect, but that is fine with me. In case you don't know... A placebo is a sham medical intervention. In one common placebo procedure, a patient is given an inert sugar pill, told that it may improve his/her condition, but not told that it is in fact inert. Such an intervention may cause the patient to believe the treatment will change his/her condition; and this belief does indeed sometimes have a therapeutic effect, causing the patient's condition to improve. This phenomenon is known as the placebo effect. Anyway, I feel that Airborne is great, especially for people...
...

mamaelsie says "Airborne . . . the best medication for cold and the like!" about Airborne

Airborne is the best medication around nowadays. I love it. In fact, I would not use anything else. There are a lot of competitive products on the market, some generic, but I would not fool with them. If I went to a store and they didn't carry Airborne or if they were sold out (which is entirely possible because it's the best medicine), I would simply go to a store that carried it. I wouldn't use anything else because, frankly, they don't work as well. I know that there have been a lot of negative reviews in the press due to a lawsuit, but please don't let that persuade you into not getting Airborne. Airborne is the best . . . period. Have I said that before? It bears repeating because if one takes this medication at the first sign of a cold or sore throat, it's gone the next day. Amazing! Simply Amazing! I am not just making this up. The last time I took it I felt as if I was getting a cold. I let it slide. A few hours later, I felt congested. I toook it. The next day I was fine. I felt...
...

Photobabe says "Not such a great product - it didn't prevent my cold" about Airborne

This product leaves much to be desired. My husband and I used it on several occasions before airplane flights. It just didn't work for us - we still caught colds and felt awful. The herbs in the product can also radically change your BMs to a soft consistency (probably too much information here, but I'm being hones about what the product does to your innards), making it difficult to evacuate completely. We didn't change our diets, only added the Airborne product - taking it as directed on the package before, during and after our trip. Unfortunately, it didn't work and one or both of us came down with terrible colds during our trip. I don't think I could recommend this product to my friends, as it didn't work for us. It's also not an inexpensively priced product - I suppose taking herbs is "trendy" but I really don't think there is a cure or preventative measure you can take for colds and viruses, except WASH YOUR HANDS a lot!

I have family members who roll their eyes about Airborne and think that I'm a sucker for falling into a big ol' marketing trap ... they say it's nothing but fizzy vitamins. But you know what? They still get sick, and I don't ... and I give all the credit to Airborne.

Whenever I travel, I'm surrounded by coughing, sneezing people and I used to get sick after plane flights without fail (all that illness in the recirculating air for hours!). I can't tell you how many vacations and business trips were ruined by colds. But not since I discovered Airborne! Now, I always make sure to dose up on Airborne before any trip or any long day with crowds or lots of kids around, and believe me, I haven't gotten a cold even once.

It's hard to prove a negative (I remember on The Simpsons, little Lisa tried to demonstrate this folly to her father by telling him that "there haven't been any tiger attacks since I picked up this rock" ... to which he replied "How much do you want for your magic Tiger Repelling...
...
