Great car, Honda built which means it will basically last forever. I have seen these with 300,000 miles. They don't knock or smoke AT ALL. I wouldn't suggest the automatic transmission. I have seen and heard of them going out. The 5speed trany is great, and if you want shorter gears just run a GSR Transmission. Type R Model has carbon fiber Interior around the shifter and else where. Better wheels, a bigger wing, and a much faster engine. Also Type R model has a way better transmission. Much shorter final drive and Limited slip differential. Also most running gear will swap over from 92-00 honda civic (Depends on the part, and the year of car.) which makes parts easy to find. They make good power with small mods. They handle really good with not much money added to it as well. You can find alot of great car parts for turners on ebay for really cheap. 01 integra has obd2 ecu, not a big fan of that. obd1 in my opinion is better.
...

teg4mel says "Sporty and compact with power to beat other cars off the line." about Acura Integra - 2001

This is a perfect little commuter car. While gas mileage not as fantastic as Pruis, it gets upwards of 340 miles per tank. It averages out for my car to about 10 cents a mile.

Isis (my car's name) is large enough to carry myself and all my school books, art supplies.
...

nedashad87 says "Performance, reliability, fun, comfort, inexpensive" about Acura Integra - 2001

I love Integras. The car's responsiveness is exceptional for any car in its price range. My only lament in performance is the slight loss of pep in the peddle.
I love Integras. The handling is very similar to driving a go-cart. They seem to hug the ground and never feel like they're going to tip over, like my Sentra does even when sitting still.

For its price, this car cannot be beat in the combination of reliability, fun, comfort, and performance. How do I know this? You cannot find a single Integra for sale if it has less than 100k miles on it, unless it has been modified or wrecked. People won't sell them, because they're such an excellent value.
...
