Silverdragoneast says "If you want irritated, dried out skin then this is for you!" about AcneFree 3 Step System

Allow me to save you some money, but more importantly let me help you protect your skin. I have always had adult acne and about a year ago I discovered Proactiv, which has been a miracle worker for me. Clears my skin right up while leaving it healthy and soft. I recently changed my order and as a result there was a lapse in my shipment, leaving me without any cleanser for a couple of weeks. While at CVS, I decided to try Acne Free since it was trying to claim that it was not only comparable to Proactiv but "better". I washed my face with it that night and I swear it felt like someone set my skin on fire. I looked in the mirror and my face was beet red. Then came the tightness and severe itching. After a couple of days the irritation went away, but my face STILL feels like it is chapped or something. I will leave this product to people with alligator-tough skin and pay the extra for a truly exceptional acne medication, Proactiv. People...there really is NO substitute so far.
...

When I first read the label for the Acnefree Three Step Solution I definitely did not believe that it would work as well than the Proactiv Three Step System. After the first few days, I did not really see any results but after a few more days I was able to see my face clearing up. WIth this product, you have to be persistent and not be discouraged. A lot of products actually take time to work. The bottles are actually quite big and pretty accurately match the price you have to pay for them. The bottles last for quite a while as well. There is no distinct smell to them. The small bottle, the one your supposed to use last was a little watery. I actually did not find that one to work as well as the Clean and Clear product that has ten percent Benzoyl Peroxide. The cleanser and exfoliant did work pretty well so I was happy and satisfied with that. My daughters and I have been using it for quite some time.
...

Acne Free Skin Care system is about the best 3 piece system I have ever tried. This is the only system that hasnt BROKEN my face out more. You can also buy just the cleanser, but the whole system works together really well. The only thing I don't like is I run out of the toner and the moisterizer first. Overall, I give this product a A +
...

I just wanted to say if you are wiling to spend a few dollars more for Proactive, you will see that there is a big difference between the two products Acne Free and Proactive. I have used both and there is no comparison between the two. Proactive is by far the most benefical if you suffer from Adult Acne.
...

Sailorsaint says "AcneFree Free & Clear System the BEST I've ever used!" about AcneFree 3 Step System

I am 25 years old, and I have suffered from acne for years. Being a mom I don't necessarily have the same time I used to, to devote to trying new products to keep my skin clear, and I have tried them pretty much all. After struggling with the thought of trying something new for a couple of weeks I finally decided to try the AcneFree Free & Clear system. I would recommend this product to anyone who has acne problems who have tried other products to no avail. Since using it I have not had a single break out, and my face has dramatically cleared up. I use it when I wake up in the morning, and before I go to bed. Having tried other popular 3 step products and not having been inpressed, I was really suprised when this one actually worked. Its cheaper in comparisson and it comes with a 3 month supply of the product. You can find it in almost any store(e.i., Walmart, Target, Sams, Costco, ect.), in the beauty and health sections.

ShortCountry07 says "Works well for the first month... But dries out your skin." about AcneFree 3 Step System

I tried the 3 Step Free & Clear Acne treatment and it did show promise. I used it everytime I was in the shower religiously. I had occasional redness and would stop using it but it would come back after a week of starting it back up. Then, about a month or so of using it my skin got extremely dry. Sure, my skin cleared but then I would get bad breakouts every so often. My dry skin got so bad I would have to put some lotion on my face to put some moisture back into it. This stuff was midrange in pricing and if you need to clear up in about a month then this would probably be the way to go. I would also say that it is best when used every other day instead of every time you are in the shower. I found that using it this way made my skin clearer and softer, but in the end it just dried out my face too much and I had to stop using it and switch to a different product.
...

lizzynad says "I find this product slightly weaker than Proactive" about AcneFree 3 Step System

I had used Proactive for several years. Finally my skin became immune to it so I decided to switch products. I came across Acne Free. It is a three step program just like Proactive. The first thing that I noticed was the first step cleanser was not a light scrub like Proactive was, it was a gel wash. Using a gel rather than a scrub is not my first choice. The second thing I that noticed was the lotion, which is the third step, did not have any sunscreen in it. I have very fair skin, and this was definitely a negative aspect for me. Acne Free is very gentle on my skin, and leaves my skin feeling very clean and light, however I need a product a little bit stronger. If these two points I just mentioned are not an issue for you, and if you do not have sever acne, than I would definitely recommend this product to you. If your skin is extremely troubled with acne, than this is not the product for you.
...

I was a little bit skeptical about Acne-Free Treatment system when I first purchased it - I had been inundated with Proactiv commercials for several years and just hadn't heard very much about it. However, I am happy to report the product is wonderful! I started to notice results in about a week. And, contrary to Proactiv, you don't have to join a club and commit to bi-monthly shipments...you have the peace of mind of simply purchasing it from your local grocery and, if you don't like it, you never have to purchase it again! My only complaint is that the toner runs out more quickly than the repair lotion and the cleanser - but all in all, I am very satisfied with the quality of the product. The price is very reasonable too - I got the cleanser, the toner, and the repair lotion for under twenty dollars - and that should last about 3 months. I love this product - I also recently heard in unbiased scientific studies that the Acne Free System works MUCH better than Proactiv anyway!
...

I tried Acne Free as a hopeful solution to adult acne. It didn't work for me. I gave it to my twelve year old son who suffers from acne, it did not work for him either, however he did see some improvement at first. But after a few weeks it didn't work any longer and only dried out his skin. We used it faithfully according to the instructions with no luck. Thankfully it is not too expensive so I do not feel like it was waste to try it out for a month. We both broke down and were put on prescription acne medication by our doctor. My acne has since cleared, I have no idea why I went thru the breakout. I would recommend this product to at least try, it did dry my skin out a bit but for the price it is a good place to start and costs less than Proactiv. I think I bought it at Walmart which was convenient as well. If you have moderate acne it may work for you. Just make sure you follow the instruction and use each of the bottles as labeled.
...

I have had major acne issues (big breakouts and resulting dark spots) since I was a teenager going through puberty and it has gotten worst as an adult. I have extremely combinations skin - really dry around nose and chin and really oily in other places. My skin has changed over the years because I used to have only really dry skin. I tried a lot of expensive brands like Murad, Physicians Formula. None worked and I was spending a lot of money, those systems run about $100. So one day I decided I wanted to try Proactiv (I got sucked in by the commerical, I will admit) but was discouraged because I could not just go to the store and buy the Proactive system. I had to go out of my way to some far away mall location or order it online. I wanted to go right over to Walgreens and start using it instantly that day. Well, in my search for Proavtiv I stumbled across AcneFree. It was only $20. Not really that less expensive that Proactiv but it was available right by my house, which...
...

I began using acnefree 4 months ago. I was desperate for a skincare system that would reduce my acne and overtime clear up my skin. I bought the acnefree system on a whim, not really expecting much to happen. The first week into using the acnefree 3-step system showed impressive results. My skin looked a bit clearer and smoother. My existing acne began to go away. Whenever I put makeup on my face, my acne scars were a lot less visible. There have even been days where I barely see any of my scars. This is the first system I have tried that manages to reduce my acne and clear my skin at the same time. The beauty of it is I only need three products. Some skin care systems have at least five different products that you are expected to use a few times a week. The acnefree 3-step system is very simple, but very effective. This is the skincare system I will continue to use until I no longer have a problem with acne. My only drawback with the system was I ran out of toner rather quickly. It would...
...

I use to be a severe acne sufferer with really bad skin. I was skeptical about trying any acne products because I was positive they wouldn't work. I had used Clean and Clear, Clearisil, Oxy, Neutrogena, Noxema, Olay, etc. I even tried natural remedies like lemon juice, witch hazel, alcohol, etc. Nothing worked! I grew restless and was on the verge of not trying anything until someone suggested AcneFree. I tried it, thinking it wouldn't do anything at all, and I was amazed to see the differences immediately! My skin turned a lot softer, less oily, and a lot brighter. Within the time of two months, I had completely clear skin! Now, I use regular facial wash and only suffer from the occasional pimple. It did wonders for me! I don't have anymore severe breakouts, blackheads, or dead skin, it's all gone! This product is inexpensive and can be found in any local drug store. Its not harsh to the skin and is great for traveling. I love it!
...
