I bought one of these babies in 2004 for my birthday in Novemeber. This laptop has everything you need and did not come with the expensive pricetag either! I would recommend this laptop to anyone that wants a stable and all around good peice of equipment. I have worked on many laptops and for the price these laptop kicks others out of the box. Its easy to use and hardly gives you any problems that I have experienced with other laptops that were more expensive and was supposed to be the best. Acer is a wonderful maker of this laptop and they all use KMD processors in them which I prefer and in my opiniion is much better than the Intel companies processors. I love this laptop and I take it with me everywhere and do just about every computer related operation that can possibly be done on a laptop with much ease and no fuss. Well, in all this is a great laptop for anything that your heart should desire!

What can I say? This is by far my favorite laptop because of its sleek design, great graphics, ease of use and just a hard worker!! It is easy for me, a computer geek/novice, to navigate and mess around on the net with. It is also resilient because I travel with it and I've never had a problem. PLUS I got a great deal on this laptop at a big name department store that also came with a decent manufacturer warranty. Great job Acer--I bought my first computer in 1991 and it was an Acer. You can't go wrong with quality and expert machine, which is what an Acer is all about. Best purchase decision ever. Thank you Acer for an awesome laptop that stands up to a lot of use and abuse and never complains. If I could make one recommendation it would be for it to come in a lot more colors like white or purple. I also think that it would be great if your brand name was splashed across the cover, that way your laptop stands out and is unique. Some simple restyling would be much...

My Acer Aspire crashed on me only 3 months after purchasing it brand new. Unfortunately I didnt by the extended warranty so I was out of luck. I had a computer person fix it and it crashed again about 3 months later. Again I had it fixed and of course it crashed again. I just quit trying to use it because I cant trust it to be functioning properly.

I have owned the Acer Aspire laptop for about 2 years. The screen stil has bright colors, the battery power is 2-3 hours, an I use it every day. I took it to Florida this summer and traveling with it is a breeze, not heavy at all.

I also used this computer through many hospital stays, with hours of entertainment. While watching movies the sound is a little low, but other than that, the movies look as good as if seen on a large TV. The sound system is RealTech audio sound.

There has never been a problem with WYFI (wireless connection) at any location, with ease and quick connecting. The touch pad is easy to use and very sensitive.

The cost of this laptop was excellent for the product. I copy movies and music CD's with ease and speed, resulting in excellent reproductions. This laptop is great for on gaming, as long as the game isn't too demanding in graphics or memory. You can upgrade the memory your self with ease.

The Acer 5100 is a good reliable laptop without a premium price. Battery life is reasonable, keyboard is consistent and screen gives good resoluton without you squinting. Good price and reliability in one package....

I can't even begin to list all of the laptops I've used over the years! Each and every one of the was absolutly TERRIBLE. Then I found Acer. This machine does everything I wanted and then some! They are fast, sleek machines, OH and they use AMD technology, which is the fastest on te market, MUCH MUCH better than intel ever dreamed of being. I WILL NEVER use any other brand. When I need a new macine, it will just be a newer Acer. FANTASTIC!!!...

The Acer laptop is a great buy. I love the buit in camera, and joy stick around the mouse. This model has a ton of memory space! I have loaded tons and tons of picture and music files, and have several computer games. The graphics card is good if you like playing games like the Sims. It is a great laptop for everyday use. The only complaint I have is the outside is easily scratched....

I bought this computer about 6 onths ago and I really love it. It was on sale when I bought it so the price was great as well. I use it for my pictures and things from church. It has alot of space and it great on travels. I wish it was a little bit lighter, but overall I am very happy with this product and would totally reccomend it to any of my friends. You will be impressed with this product, its great...
