I've had this monitor for about 7 months with no burnt pixels or any problems at all....

I am a big fan of Acer monitors in general and the AL2216WBD is a great one, especially for the current prices ( $169.00 online) from several retailers.

I always thought the Samsung LCD monitors were probably the best all around value for the home PC user until I discoverred the Acers.

My first Acer was a X221W and was a real eye-openner. Excellent picture quality for just about anything the home user could need at a price, at the time, about 2/3 of the similar Samsung. And it came with a 3 year factory warranty instead of the normal 1 year from most other manufacturers.

The AL2216WBD carries on the Acer tradition of quality excellence at a very affordable price. It does everything exceptionally well ( often beating out much higher priced competitors) in real world applications. Video applications ( streaming video, DVD watching, etc ) look really great.

Excellent quality, 3 year warranty, ease of istallation, very attractive price- Acer monitors have a combination...

My son's monitor was growing dim on his Windows XP edition and with him getting ready to start taking college courses I gave him my 19" LCD and ordered the Acer 22" to add to my desktop. Since I have Windows XP Pro with Media Center the 19" was not quite large enough to watch TV or DVDs for my eye sight. It's not that I can not see on a 19" but with the 22" I don't have to sit right in front of the desk. I had read reviews on another site which stated the monitor was not very good but was better than other monitors I was looking at.

FedEx dropped it off and with in five minutes I had it up and running. The color it much brighter than monitors I had looked at in office supply stores and there is no lag time causing ghost images during the play back of a movie ot watching cable TV. The settings are very easy to change for different types of use. I like my photo editing much better after having printed out pictures. The images are vivid, crisp and colorful on the screen and the printed picture...

WOW !!! What a great monitor !!! It is almost as big as my TV !!! I could never go back to the old-school monitors now !! No glare, great coloring..... We are very happy with the monitor. Wish we would have bought it sooner !! Great value for the price.

This ACER monitor has a FANTASTIC quality picture and is SUPER CLEAR! It has EXCELLENT resolution and it SUPER easy to operate. This monitor out-performs much higher priced monitors yet you won't break the bank with this one. I recommend it to anyone that spends a good amount of time on their computer....
