I have recieved excellent service from Amica Insurance. First Off, I should start off by saying that I have never had a reported accident. However, I have moved several times and gone through multiple vehicles since I started my policy. I originally opened my policy over the phone. Yes, over the phone. Within about 25 minutes my car was insured and within another 2 hours I had my car registered ( would have been faster but there was a wait at the registry ) . It was very easy I called on a Tuesday morning, which one migh tthink is a busy time for a national insurance company toll free hotline, but my wait time on the phone was less than ten minutes. After finding that my homeowners policy had more than doubled six months into the new term, I began looking as fast as I could for a replacement company. The company I had been with was top rated by the Texas State Board of Insurance, but at that type of increase with my husband's impending retirement from the Army, my appreciation couldn't stretch that far. I reviewed the other companies listed by the TSBI and found that AMICA is rated just the same as my current company and so I gave them a call. I detailed my situation and needs. To my pleasant surprise, I was asked what I wanted as well. I received several different quotes on all three policies I required so that I could analyze them against my current policies. I found that not only were the premiums less than my ORIGINAL premiums prior to the increases, but my coverages were greater, including replacement price for my home and outlying buildings.

I would not recommend Amica. They don't look out for their customer at all, they just want to resolve the issue with as little inconvenience to them as possible and be done. I called the corporate office and was passed down to someone who really didn't care about us at all - he was basically there to listen, tell us he was "sorry" and then be done. We asked him to help us in contacting another department and he outright refused. If this is how "top management" treats customers then they obviously aren't looking out for you. At no time did we become irate or rude, we simply wanted to be heard, Amica was definitely not willing listen.

When I called the company, the agent answered the phone quickly. Her tone was pleasant and understanding. She calmed me down and thoroughly explained every part to me and what the outcome of the situation could be. She was patient and very friendly, while being professional and knowledgeable about the product. She even took the time to explain what some of the options that I had were and what the consequences could be without giving legal advise. She patiently answered each and every question and when she didn't know the answer, the agent put me on hold for a moment to find out the answer. I was not left on hold for more than three minutes. When she came back, she had the answer and other options for me to consider; which were not given to me at the start of this program. She made me feel that I had made the correct choices and knew exactly what the outcome would be. The agent calmed all my fears and concerns in the 20 minutes that we were on the telephone. I would recommend this company...

My only experience with Amica resulted from a car accident with one of their insured drivers. However, that experience is one I will never forget. The adjuster I dealt with was more helpful than my own insurer! Go figure! He guided me through the process of putting in a claim against their driver and advised me on what information was needed to process that claim. Once he had all the necessary information he processed that claim in a very short period of time. I received my check in the mail in a most timely fashion. The adjuster was very friendly and understanding. Unfortunately, their insured driver was under-insured so I could not get what I'd lost in full unless I decided to pursue additional compensation through legal councel. The adjuster provided me with the drivers income which helped me decide whether or not to pursue that course of action. He also informed me that if I had insurance for under-insured drivers I could put an additional claim in to my own insurer. My insurer...

I have been with amica few about 7 or 8 years now and I have never been with an easier company. They have made it very easy for us to file a claim and get it settled extremely quick. In most cases alot quicker than expected....
