hulapants says "love love love it!" about ACT Restoring Mouthwash

This is my favorite mouthwash. I really only use Act since that's the one that my dentist has reccommended. And this is much milder and not alcohol-y like Listerine or even the Colgate kind. Also i've tried store brands but there is no store brand for Act (that I've seen anyway), so that's why I need to buy the name brand.

This mouthwash does everything, but the main reason I bought it was because it restores enamel, which is something I am always concerned about. I drink enough tea and soda that i need to take some preventative care. I havent' really noticed if my teeth are stronger or anything, but my mouth certainly FEELS cleaner. I'm a crazy person when it comes to oral hygeine, and I brush twice daily, then floss AT LEAST once, and then I use this mouthwash twice.

This mouthwash doesn't sting or anything, and you only have to swish it around for one minute. I highly reccomend this product!
...

mccallreg says "Pleasant tasting and protects my sensitive teeth" about ACT Restoring Mouthwash

This is one of the more beneficial dental health products that doesn't just get rid of bad breath. It protects your teeth too. ACT Restoring Anti Cavity mouth rinse actually restores the minerals to your teeth and receding gums.

I like how it also leaves the mouth with a cool light mint flavor that is not over powering or medicine like, which is the case with some other well known mouth washes on the market. A couple of us in our household have used ACT Restoring Anti Cavity mouth rinse over the past year, and we can honestly say we are pleased with it.

It is supposed to be good for people who have sensitive teeth too. Some other mouth rinses can be pretty harsh but this one is not, yet it is still effective. It comes in a few different mint flavors and I've tried most of them and they all taste pretty nice.

My dentist recommended the ACT brand because their mouth rinses have flouride as their active ingredient. I guess other brands don't contain fluoride, which is surprising...
...

jchahil says "Great Mouthwash" about ACT Restoring Mouthwash

ACT Restoring Mouthwash -- Cool Spash Mint is a little on the strong side, and it gives you a burning sensation similar to that of the Listerine brand. However, it has a great taste and leaves your mouth feeling really fresh and clean. I used this for a while, but then I read an article about mouthwash that contains alcohol increases your chances of oral cancer, so I quit using it. A week or two after I quit using it, while shopping at my local store, I discovered that they also make an alcohol-free version, so I had to try it. Turns out, I like the alcohol-free version even better. You do not get that hot/burning sensation in your mouth like you do with the original ACT Restoring Mouthwash or Listerine. I also like the benefits of using this product. With all the pop and energy drinks that wear away your tooth enamel, anything to protect your teeth from acid wear is an excellent plus! This is my new favorite mouthwash from the ACT product line and I will continue to use it...
...

I really really love my ACT Restoring cool mint mouthwash!! It has such a refreshing flavor and smell and leaves your mouth feeling cool and very clean feeling. I take it with me everywhere I go and use it faithfully. It doesnt burn or sting my gums or tongue unless I rinse to long...which I have a habit of, since it feels so good in my mouth. I havent tried any other flavors other than the cool mint, but I bet they taste just as good. I was not always such a good rinser or brusher and had many cavities...but then my dentist told me about crest toothpaste and ACT Restoring mouthwash. I use both faithfully and have had more dentist apptments cavity free than I can count. I owe it all to the great mouthwash and of course my toothpaste. I would recomment this to every adult and all children,of appropriate age to use mouthwash, to use it and just give it a try. I know I love it and my husband loves it to. Not real expensive either, great deal.
...

My teeth are in great condition stems from being told no sweets and coke as a punishments when I was a child thank god I was always in trouble.Anyway I have tried just about all the mouth washes even the real expensive ones like RX what ever it was called which I believed was the better one until now, they all seem to feel like they burn when I use them, but ACT is the first one I actually look forward to using, the vanilla flavor is by far the best one makes my mouth feel soft and clean.Picked up the spearmint one by mistake the other day but still almost as good as the Vanilla, over all I believe most people skip the mouth wash because they dont like the stringent effect, but with ACT I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I recommend Vanilla if you want to be habit forming your mouth wash regime., As for alcohol sting a few mentioned here I did not notice that at all maybe because Vanilla is different, I can see the cinammon doing that but there again I cannot chew cinamon......

This was recommended by my dentist for my husband as his teeth aren't very um, nice. It is very fresh and not too "hot". It is easy to dispense with the squeezey top, and it has fluoride. In my grocery store it was the only one of 4 huge shelves of mouthwash that contains fluoride. It is by far the best out there in my opinion and we use it frequently. AND sometimes it is in Big Lots for like half the price! Bonus!...

I really like this mouthwash. It has become my normal mouthwash. Due to poor oral care when I was a child, my teeth are not in the best shape. They are very soft, and I was always chipping them in some way or another. I have been using this product for about a year, and I can tell a difference. My dentist recommended it, and I thank him for it everyday. It's a great product, with a fresh mint taste to it. It does have the sting of alcohol, which is a downside. Overall I'd recommend it to anyway trying to boost their oral care....

The ACT restoring mouth wash is a hit at my house. The dentist recomended it to me when I had my first filling, ever. She said to use it every night. I can't begin to tell you how clean my teeth feel when I'm getting ready to go to bed, and how it really has helped prevent any other cavities from forming. I also have tried a few other ACT products, and I must say, bravo.
...

I have sensitive teeth and I also have some areas where the root is slightly exposed. My dentist suggested brushing with Sensodyne. But I found Act Restoring Mouthwash. I have the formula that you can use twice a day instead of once a day. Once I started using it, I noticed a huge difference on my sensitive teeth and the places where the root is slightly exposed. When I brush across those areas, it is barely sensitive. You only have to rinse for 1 minute. And the last time I went to the dentist, I had no cavities and I'm sure this is due to this mouthwash....

When trying to determine what type of mouthwash that we wanted to go with, our priorities were a combination of something that would taste good, and which would accomplish the goals of any good mouthwash: to freshen breath. What we ended up purchasing was a bottle of the ACT Restoring Mouthwash, in the Cool Splash Mint flavor. It advertised right on the front that it would help to kill bad breath germs and freshen our breath with a "clean burst of icy spearmint." The bottle itself held 18 ounces of the mouthwash, with a drinking cup serving as the cap, and it contained a bright blue liquid inside.

Taking it home, we wanted to put it to use right away that night, and we followed the recommendation of first brushing out teeth and then putting the mouthwash to work. To use this mouthwash, they suggest using the cap as the cup, and then to measure out 10 milliliters of the mouthwash in the cap using the markings on the inside. We then put the cap-full into our mouths and began vigorously...
...
