matanb says "great jeans..." about 7 For All Mankind

So about six years ago I laid my eyes on the perfect pair of jeans, but to my horror when I lifted the price tag it read 108.99. I had always been a gap jeans or levis kinda girl, but something about these jeans made me buy them anyways. I still have my first pair of sevens, they now sit among several other pairs of sevens in my closet, and I still love them. Well years have passed, and inflation has taken its toll here too bringing the once shocking price to an even higher set point, but these jeans are still great. They fit well, the back pocket designs are always cute, and they still feel well made. But over time, they have also become quite mainstream... the girl standing next to you on the subway will almost always be wearing the same jeans as you. So for the girl looking for super special designer jeans, these jeans may not be the right pair to buy. But for the girl looking to splurge on a well made cute pair of jeans... I recommend these.
...

These 7 jeans are amazing! They cost more then your normal jeans but let me tell you they stay looking new for years and they never tend to show the wear and tear as most jeans. If you want a good pair of jeans these are the ones for you.. I recommend these like i recommend eating food.
...

Though considered pricey, 7 for all Mankind is a must-have for any closet. Trendy and true to size, they have various styles to suit the ever changing fashionista, and not to mention complement your figure (isn't that what jeans are for?). 7 For All Mankind. Dress them up or down, you can count on these babies to not only make your bum look heavenly, but know that they will last you throughout the seasons when taken care of properly, unlike many jeans which will appear faded and worn down on the pockets and pant cuffs from everyday wear. Comfort and quality are key in clothing. Why pay for three pairs of jeans that may last one season, when you can invest in 7 For All Mankind Jeans and know they will last you for years. I own several pairs and would recommend them to anyone who cares about quality....

sjlongley says "7 jeans are NOT for all mankind" about 7 For All Mankind

7 For All Mankind, 7, Sevens -- whatever you choose to call them, I am sick of seeing them around. A resourceful, thrifty, sale-driven shopper, I love finding clothes that are cute and practical, yet inexpensive. On the flip side, I also believe that (especially when it comes to pants, which are so particular in fit) if you are going to wear something non-stop, it's alright to break the bank a little. Seven For All Mankind fits into neither of these categories.

7s have become extremely overdone. People spend top dollar (not True Religion expensive, but $130-200 is still no T.J. Maxx) for the designer name, but if everybody has them are they still designer? Why not spend the same price for a pair of Citizens of Humanity or Joe's Jeans? Both respectable names that are considered higher quality, better designers, and at least vary the pocket design so you aren't staring at the same thing everyday.

I could be biased, Seven jeans don't really fit me all that well, and the pair that I do have has......

If u can pay the premium price. Do it...the quality is amazing, cute styles and literally if you wear jeans every day they pay for themselves. The material is so soft, it's not even like you're wearing jeans. Plus, they make your butt look so good. The designs on the back are innovative and cute. No matter what you pair them with, the mere brand name is distinguished and recognizable and makes an instant fashion statment....

7 for All Mankind is a wonderful denim company. Their jeans last a long time and look great on almost any body type. They are comfortable and afordable for designer denim. I would definitley recommend a pair of "sevens" for every avid jean wearer, classic or trendy!
...

These jeans are comfortable and look great; however, the stretch makes them slide down my butt after a few hours. Even sizing down, the jeans stretch out too much, at least for me. I wish, too, there were more variety in the rises of this brand.

I wouldn't recommend this brand for women with flat butts....

loves these jeans!!!!! Everyone should have one in their closet. Spoil yourself one day this year and buy a pair of these jeans. They fit small and so definitely spend the time to try them on before you spend the money or get your boyfriend/husband to buy them as a gift....
