I bought the Ford Fusion 3 years ago because I had a Ford Explorer and I was not working at the time and I needed something that was better on gas so I traded in

Explorer for Fusion. It was and still is hard to get use to a smaller vehicle. The

Fusion is a nice car, but really not the car for me. I plan on handing it down to

my teenager when he turns 16 next year. It will be a great high school/college car for him. But it is awful in the snow. Living in Ohio with winters in the country I ended up in ditch alot. One thing that really irritates me about car is where the trunk release button

is located. I am always accidentally bumping it when I get in or out of car. I have

2 teenage boys and when the whole family is in car it is really crowded in back seat,

you really can't put more than 2 adults in back seat. But like I said it is really good

on gas and it also has a spacious trunk for a mid size vehicle.
...

this car has great style, it is an expensive looking car but is really affordable. my wife has one and she loves it. it is a great family vehicle. it is also great to travel in, we just recently went on vaction to tennessee and we drove this. it saved us a ton of money on gas. So i think this car is perfect for people like me who are worried about gas prices being so high. i just love this car. plus it has all kinds of great high end features....

ORIONSATAURUS says "Best built car I've ever owned" about 2006 Ford Fusion

OMG, my Fire Red 2006 Fusion is a dream to drive. I purchased this vehicle January 2007 in the showroom with 30 miles on it. I purchased the 5 speed 2.0 4-cylinder 4 door SEL with almost power everything. I don't have the sunroof because I was tired of having one, since I've owned a sunroof in almost every new car I've purchased. Anyways, this car is loaded with everything imaginable on it. I've got the upgraded wood grain, telescopic steering, and cruise control of all things. I didn't even think manual transmissions came with cruise control. Well let me tell you, I use the cruise control all the time. I'm getting 24.5 MPG, and I am quite happy with those results. My car is so hot that I had the windows tinted, and some other jewelry put on her. This girl I used to work with was so impressed, she went out and purchased the same color, but the SE. I looked at her car when it was new, and let me tell you I was not impressed. Even though, she upgraded with leather seats, sunroof, and......

I went from a Taurus to a Fusion and was sooooo satisfied. I was very impressed with the mileage that I got compared to the Taurus. I went from 22 mpg to 32. Made a huge difference since I travel about 80 miles each day. So far no complaints with the car whatsoever....

I WOULD LIKE TO START BY SAYING THAT I AM COMPLETLY HAPPY WITH MY FORD FUSION. THE PERFORMANCE AND HANDLING ARE EXCEPTIONAL. THE V6 ENGINE IS EVIDENT WHEN YOU DRIVE IT. THE INTERIOR IS INCREDIBLE. THE TWO TONE LEATHER INTERIOR WITH THE 6 CD CHANGER IS AWESOME. IF I HAD TO RECOMMEND THE FUSION I WOULD NOT HESITATE.
...

missmichelle says "Great vehicle!" about 2006 Ford Fusion

This car is awesome! It is nice to look at and nice to drive. It is good on gas mileage (as long as you don't have a lead foot!). I've taken mine on several road trips, two that were more than 1200 miles round trip each, and didn't have a single problem with it. There is plenty of area for storage in the car and the trunk is huge. The back seat is spacious. The controls are easy to access and use.
If I had to find a con about this vehicle, it would be the brake light in the back window. It takes a while to get used to because it slightly obstructs your view. I've worked around the problem and it no longer bothers me anymore. The other, very minor, inconvience is that I cannot pull down the rear seats without going into the trunk to pull a lever. I was previously used to being able to push a button on the top of the rear seats to fold them down and with this car that's not the way it works. Since I rarely need this feature it is not a major issue for me. Overall, this is a great car and......

I have a 2007 Ford Fusion SEL V-6 AWD but there was not a category set up for it.

The 2007 Ford Fusion was my only choice when it was time to replace my last car. The Fusion was introduced as an all-new vehicle for 2006 and it's a superb car. It handles well, looks purposeful, it's comfortable, and it delivers good value.

All-wheel drive is a new option for 2007.

The 2007 Fusion models come standard with side-impact and curtain airbags, an upgrade over 2006.

The cabin is comfortable and well designed with controls are intuitive and easy to operate. The center dash is beautiful, and the interior looks classier in the lighter colors.

In keeping with its European influence, Ford has chosen to go with the soft touch for surface materials, which is expected in a luxury car but not in a mass-market car. The car I own has a dark charcoal interior so everything is finished in black. Crisp lines, big headlamps and a bold, chrome grille give the Fusion a distinctive appearance that I find attractive....
...

This car is so terrific-it has absolutely everything that I was looking for. It's dependable, safe (I drive kids around a lot), roomy, affordable (under 200 per month with down payment), and even nice to look at!
I have had my fusion for about 7 months and have yet to find a bad thing about it!...
