The shelves are well spaced and wide. This makes it easy to stack meat packages and keep each cut together. It also allows for the storage of large packages of garden produce. The basket will hold a number of odd shaped items so they do not have to take up shelf space. This freezer freezes rapidly making it a pleasure to freeze fresh garden produce. Its exterior dimensions make it easy to fit in the kitchen or a large pantry.</p>... This freezer is frost less and really cools well. I just plugged it in and forgot about it. It has an alarm on it if it ever stops working for any reason. This is my first freezer and I like it very well. There is storage baskets that pull out on the door and 4 shelves and 2 huge pullout baskets inside the freezer. Nice space to hold a years worth of garden produce. It has lots of space, so you can separate all your different varietys of food. Whirlpool freezers are very spacious and nice looking.</p>... We love to freeze vegetables from our summer garden and shop for great deals and the refridgerator freezer in the kitchen is just not big enough to accomodate all of our freezer needs.  This upright Whirlpool freezer was just the right size for extra freezer space in the garage....
