      <description>&lt;p&gt;I have long been a road warrior and so have been listening to audiobooks for years.&#160; Cracker Barrel was my introduction to this medium of &quot;reading&quot;.&#160; They still have a great deal on their audio books.&#160; You pay full price for the &quot;book&quot;, but you can bring them back and get a refund less the weekly charge.&#160; It used to be $3/week, but it's been&#160;it's been a few years since I was last there so it could be more.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&#160;These days I download audiobooks from iTunes.&#160; The drawback of downloads from this source (or from eMusic, Audible.com, etc.) is you pay full price for a book you most likely will just delete later or keep on your computer's hard drive for eternity.&#160; Same problem if you purchase from a book store.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&#160;Believe it or not, the Chicago Public Library now offers downloadable audiobooks to checkout, which is a much better option than iTunes...except their downloads are not compatible with iPods.&#160; Figures, right?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&#160;Regardless of how I've obtained my audiobooks over the years, they are definately...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
