My husband loves technology. I usually have to be convinced. He wanted a GPS for a long time before I finally relented and let him get one. Our first one was meant mainly for hiking. It was rugged and not very user-friendly. It would tell you where you were but not what was around you (no "points of interest"). I continued to rely on my old tried-and-true method of finding directions on Yahoo! maps and printing them out. When he got the Garmin Nuvi 200, however, I began to change my mind.

My husband had some good points. Although Yahoo! maps printouts had never steered us wrong, they had their limitations. If we changed our mind part-way through the trip and wanted to take a detour or there was a road closure or accident ahead, a piece of paper couldn't re-route us. If we got hungry or thirsty (or just bored) along the way, a piece of paper wouldn't tell us if there was a Starbucks or McDonalds coming up.

The Nuvi 200 does an AMAZING job of routing us in the best possible...

I love free stuff. Samples in the mail, free stuff with coupons and sales in the store, etc. So when I got the chance to try Aveeno's new Nourish + Volumize shampoo for free, I jumped at the chance. Who wouldn't?

I waited with great anticipation for the day when my package was to arrive. When it did, I almost lept straight into the shower. But I restrained myself and waited until the following morning. My previous half-full bottle of shampoo was relegated to the linen closet and replaced by the bottle of Aveeno Nourish + Volumize. The bottle itself was a bit smaller than I was anticipating but I didn't let that tarnish my excitement.

As I lathered up, I read the back of the bottle. What else is there to do in the shower? I read about the exclusive ACTIVE NATURALS formula, which is infused with Nourishing Wheat Complex and Anti-Oxidant Blue Lotus Flower. It zeroes in on the weakest part of hair - fortifying the hair shaft with protein where it needs it most.

Just before my first son was born, I had about $50 in store credit at Target from returning various items from my baby shower. I was looking around the baby section, trying to find something to buy. When I stumbled upon the Fisher Price Space Saver high chair, I was hooked. Not only was it in my budget (I believe it was $49.99 at the time) but it fit all my requirements for a high chair.

Because it hooks onto a regular kitchen chair with two sets of straps (one behind and one underneath), it doesn't take up any additional floor space in the dining room. We live in a smaller home, so floor space is at a premium. The tray is removable with one hand and dishwasher safe. The seat itself is covered with a slick "fabric" that easily wipes clean and refuses to stain. There are adjustable safety straps to keep your little daredevil safely in his or her seat. The seat also reclines, should you feel the need to feed your infant who is too small to sit upright.

I was tired of my old coffee maker. It was dirty, old, and lacked the all-important timer feature. Who wants to wake up in the morning, stumble bleary eyed into the kitchen, fumble with the water and coffee, then wait for the coffee to brew? I'd MUCH prefer to be awakened by the tantalizing aroma of coffee sneaking down the hallway and into my sleeping nostrils.

When I saw the ad to join Gevalia and receive a coffeemaker for free, I was so excited!! Not only would I get good coffee at a great price but I would get a FREE coffee maker too? Sign me up.

For the most part, I like my Gevalia coffemaker. It's white, so it doesn't stand out on the counter (who needs more visual clutter in the kitchen??). It has an easily-removable filter holder. It's easy to clean. There is a clock and programable timer, so I can grope my way into the kitchen and pour myself a cup of coffee. Most of the time.

As a nursing mother with larger breasts, I've had a really difficult finding nursing bras that fit well without that "rocket boob" look. You know, like Madonna of the 80's with those cones on her chest. Well the Fancee Free Seamless Soft Cup Nursing Bra is FANTASTIC!!! It fits great. There are no underwires to poke or cause mastitis, etc.

They are available at biggerbras.com in sizes 34-44 B-H. Something for almost every nursing momma! Although the style and color aren't super sexy, the support and comfort is worth it. The new daddy will just have to wait for the sex appeal for a little bit, right? ;-)

The cup hooks aren't the noisy clip type. They are hooks like you'd find on the back of your bra. While they are a little bit difficult to hook one-handed while your other hand is holding your sleeping infant, they don't have the noisy "snap" that some clip have, which is great for being sneaky while nursing in public or to avoid waking the little one who just nodded off....

I have had the Bounce Dryer Bar in my dryer for about a week now. I love that it saves time because I don't have to fiddle around to find a new dryer sheet every time or play "find the dryer sheet" when putting laundry away. You just install it & forget it!

We received a Graco travel system (infant seat, car base and stroller) just before my 2-year-old son was born. The infant seat lasted him well throughout his infancy. He has been enjoying the stroller ever since. He likes the fact that the seat lays down, that there's a window in the canopy so that he can look at me while I push him, and the snack tray complete with his own cupholder. I like the large basket underneath, the two cupholders for me, and the fact that it's easy to collapse. Now that we're expecting our second son, I'm looking forward to using the complete travel system again!

We have owned and used our Maytag Quiet Series 200 since we moved into our new home 5 years ago. We have never had a problem with maintenance or functionality of the unit; it's still going strong! I love the different settings and that the dishwasher remembers the last setting I selected - simply hitting "start" will begin the last setting I selected. I love the delay timer setting so I can have the dishwasher run after the family has gone to bed. My only complaint is that it's NOT "quiet"! I can't run it during a movie or when we have friends over. But, again, that's what the "delay" feature is for, right?

My husband and I purchased this mattress to replace a very high-end mattress my mother-in-law had purchased as our wedding gift. She works at a mattress store and had been able to procure a $3000 mattress for fairly inexpensive. Unfortunately, by the time we needed to replace it, we no longer lived near her and needed to find one of our own. We ended up purchasing the Serta Pillowtop Mattress and LOVE IT!! We didn't need to spend $3000 to get a mattress that delivered the same comfortable sleep. Hooray!

I have two Pampered Chef stoneware pieces; the bar pan and the rectangle baking stone. I love them!! They make my cookies wonderfully soft and never burn. The only downside I have found is that the stoneware takes on a scary brown, almost dirty-looking hue after use, which has been known to scare friends who are unaware of how stoneware is supposed to look.

I love my Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick Cookware Set. I use it almost daily to feed my family of 3. The first set peeled after a few years, so I took it back to Bed Bath & Beyond. Calphalon offers a lifetime warranty, but you have to mail in the offending pieces for replacement. I had neither the time nor the energy to take it to the Post Office and send it back. Bed Bath & Beyond stands behind Calphalon's lifetime warranty and replaced the entire set for free, even the pieces that were still fine!!

The new Applebee's on W 11th in Eugene is great. It even has that new restaurant smell still. =) My favorite part is that they brought back the old, deep-fried, bone-in buffalo wings. Those boneless wings aren't even close....

The seats are comfortable, and I LOVE that both side doors open with the quick push of a button on the remote. The back seat folds down flat into the deep well in the back and both middle seats are easily removed, making for a huge area for transporting things....
