princesspearl2 says "smells great and moisturizes well" about Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea Body Cream

The Sweet Pea body cream from Bath & Body Works Pleasures line is really nice. It smells nice without being overpowering, and the moisturizing effects last for hours... even after rinsing your hands in water. I like how it doesn't feel greasy, but you have to rub it in a bit. ...

princesspearl2 says "tasty source of protein in a pinch" about Premier Protein Bar

This protein bar actually has more grams of protein than carbs, which is hard to find. The Double Chocolate Crunch bar has 30 grams of protein, 25 grams of carbs and 7 grams of fat per serving, at 280 calories... so this is a great meal replacement if you're doing a diet program that consists of 40/30/30 protein/carb/fat. Plus, it tastes pretty decent too.
...

princesspearl2 says "Great tasting whey protein" about Body Fortress 100% Whey Protein powder

I found Body Fortress at Target for about $14 for a 2 pound canister and decided to give it a shot (a change from my regular purchase of EAS Whey Protein which has gone up in price.) I really like the chocolate flavor the best and it mixes fairly well with just a spoon. It helps to let it sit for a little bit after you initially mix it and smash down any large clumps. The colder the water the better. And, this is more protein per serving than EAS....

princesspearl2 says "awesome chips!" about Trader Joe's - Reduced Guilt kettle cooked potato chips

These chips taste great... and they're 33% less fat than other chips! Which means you can eat 50% more chips now! ;) They're nice and thick and really crispy. I tried the two flavors they had on stock... lightly salted and white cheddar. I like the lightly salted better since I like to taste more of the potato but they are both really good! Way to go, Joe! The price is pretty good too, at just under $2!...

princesspearl2 says "it cuts off messages" about GE - 27851FC1 2.4 GHz Cordless Phone

I got this phone a couple years ago because I wanted a good cordless phone that had an answering machine. The cordless phone portion works fine but messages are always cut off. Not sure why this is, but every single message has been cut off at the end. This is not a good thing when someone is leaving important information (such as a phone number) at the end of the message. ...

princesspearl2 says "Great food processor but it's small" about Ultimate Chopper Food Processor

When I saw the infomercial for this and saw concrete being pulverized into dust, I had to buy this food processor! This is one powerful piece of equipment. In just a few seconds, anything solid becomes powder. Also, it has a great safety feature that keep the blades from working unless the cover is properly put on. The only drawback is that it has limited capacity so if you are making anything in quantity (or over 1.5 cups in volume), you have to do it in batches. ...

princesspearl2 says "good but not great" about Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 8 Piece Cookware Set

I thought that by buying a well-known brand like this that I would be getting high quality cookware that's been tested in everyday use. The functionality of the pots and pans are great... non-stick, even heating. But what I was a little disappointed with is that the handles on the pots/pans as well as the covers get hot so that you must use a potholder to handle them while cooking. ...

princesspearl2 says "I use this every day!" about Oster 4094 Designer Classic Beehive 2 Speed Blender

My husband and I use this every day. We both enjoy at least 1-2 whey protein shakes a day and we like to blend the protein powder with frozen fruits and a little water. They turn out perfectly! Very smooth. Sometimes you have to let it blend a little longer to get all the clumps out but after a few seconds, it's perfect. The only drawback is that after so much usage, the bottom plastic has gotten a little cracked where the base of the blade is attached. ...

This is a great product! I love the capacity of the bowl, which lets you make double batches easily. It also has a very powerful motor so it will stand up to batch after batch of cookies, breads, and cakes. If you've got a lot of baking to do, this is the mixer for you. Durable, dependable and tough. ...
