My dad, who had been with Erie for many years before that, helped me obtain insurance from his agent.  Two weeks later, while home for a weekend, a drunk ran a red light and hit me in the side.  He had no insurance, so Erie stepped up and took care of the whole thing.  In 53 years that is the only time I have ever been involved in an auto accident.  Last year, Hurricane type winds ripped shingles off of my roof in several places.  That same day Erie notified a roofing contractor and they showed up and covered the leaking area with plastic to avoid further damage inside the home. It was 22 degrees and windy but they got the job done...Three days later they started replacing my whole roof. This is the kind of company they are.
