poemngirls says "worth every penny!" about Sherwin Williams paint

These paints are a little pricey (but if you look around you can catch a coupon somewhere or another), but definitely worth it. I've covered many walls with just one coat. I love their primer. On one occasion I needed to paint an 8 1/2 foot tall wall that was approx 9 1/2 feet wide. I had just sheetrocked it. The whole room was being painted in a creamy white, but that one wall was going to be midnight blue. They recommended a (grey) tinted primer (just a quart) with just a quart of deep blue paint. It came out beautifully! While I was still painting (and the paint was still quite wet) I threw some gold glitter (also from Sherwin Williams) onto the paint. The result was spectacular. I bought some inexpensive bedding from Walmart in a celestial pattern and added deep blue carpeting. I even had enough paint and primer left over (from the quart of each!) to prime and paint the new radiator cover I had just made. I...

poemngirls says "real education without the hassles of a public school" about PA Cyber School - all cities,PA

great alternative to public school for those who, for some reason or another, are unable to attend a "real" school. This is certainly a "real" school with real classwork, real teachers, real tests, and real homework. Free, open tutoring is available from 8am-8pm daily. Flexibility with scheduling-can take "real time" classes ("virtual") or self-paced classes. Teachers and instructional supervisor really seem to care. I am amazedat the way technology has taken over-We have all the benefits of a "brick and mortar" school, yet none of the inhibitions. My children can not pass notes during class, cannot mock the teacher (or see others doing it), cannot hear other students' rude comments ("He's just a jerk-I'm not doing that assignment!), and cannot judge others by their appearances. Wonderful place! —...

poemngirls says "sleek and stylish, very functional." about Kohler Forte

I was looking for a faucet (actually, 3 of them for my new kitchen) that didn't take up too much room. I filled my newly-found kitchen space with lots and lots of counter space, tons of cabinets, and no table for eating upon. I was afraid of things looking too busy in there , and I found this faucet which I thought would not be too obtrusive. I wasn't so sure I'd like the ON/OFF handle right on the back of the spigot (I could not afford three faucets with handles off to the side), but I LOVE the whole thing now. It is a tall piece, and the water comes out from quite a height. My sinks are only 8" (one is 10" deep), but with the granite on top it seems to be quite a long trip from the faucet to the bottom of the sink. When I am not washing very large items there is often a splashing of water into the...

Have owned 2 different ranges, two different stovetops, and one other double oven. This one is truly special! Price was pretty good for the quality double oven this is. Thinking of starting up a bakery business I used to have -- I love this oven so...

poemngirls says "it grinds everything!!" about InSinkErator Badger 5 disposal

almost too quiet-I'm afraid I may turn it on by mistake one day and burn it out by mistake. Nice strong motor, sleek drain stopper for times when you are not grinding things up. I have the one which does not use a wall switch-You have to simply place the sink stopper into the sink's hole and rotate it just a little bit. There is a magnet which activates the motor. — ...
