We  had a factory recall on the washer at their expense. Apparently they did not perfect this product fully before it went on sale. The washer, when you open the door a smell hits you after it has been used awhile.. To temporarily get rid of this smell, you have to do the recommended  procedure from Maytag, which is time consuming and uses more detergent (dishwasher detergent &amp; bleach). Also you need a toothbrush to clean around the ring inside the door. The dryer as far as I am concerened, does not filter the lint properly.<br/><br/>Having been a loyal customer of Maytag for 30 years, this washer and dryer set up STINKS.<br/>...
