pms2007 says "Number 3 rating in top colleges (Ivy League)" about Columbia University in the City of New York

We visited the college on an invite. It was summer and we were not allowed to see the dorms. This was a worry. I discretely asked a student in an office to rate the dorms for me. Some did not have air-conditioning. Students were not allowed to have their own - could get expelled. First two years you have to sign up for dining dollars. We moved our child's stuff and attend parent - kid day and say good-bye. The dorm room (shared) was old asphault tile floor and very small. There were large cockroaches everywhere. It turned out to be too few showers and bathrooms for the number of students on each floor. Some students wrecked TV's . kitchens, etc, making it difficult for others. Things did not get fixed. Rooms are done by an unfair lottery system., unknown to us til the last year. Dining dollars turned out to be very poor food. For Example, one day they had tator tots, the next day tator tots were disguised in mystery food and the next day they appeared on pizza. We had paid into...
...

pms2007 says "I was very disappointed with the last book of the series." about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I finally got to read the last of the Harry Potter series. I have re-read all of them with joy. I was truly disappointed with the last book. The first part drags with them running around with the tent. I but the book down and finally returned 2 weeks later to continue,Later we find Harry and Dumbledore in a white room and all sorts of facts are revealed. I felt this was a begining writer type of thing to do. Did someone else finish the book or was she in such a hurry at the end? Then all of a sudden we advance years and people are married, etc. I had to read this part 2X's to understand it all. I love to read but this was a waste of $18 for me. I feel sorry for people who had to pay more.
...

pms2007 says "love the free airplane trips" about US Bank

When our child was in high school, we found out about this particular credit card and signed up. Later when she went to college out of state, we had free plane tickets to visit the college and later for her to travel back and forth. So far we have gotten 12 free $800 plane tickets and only had to buy for our trip for graduation and to bring her things home. If we sign up others we can both get miles. We charge everything we can every month but we plan ahead so we can pay off the bill every month. We live on SS so we are not rich. Right now we have air miles saved. We plan to go to Hawaii and down south to visit our daughter where she just took a new job. You have to pay bills anyway, so why not cash in on the freebies! It costs $75 per year but if you do alot of different types of banking at US Banks, they can get it for you free.

I did not mention the exact card due to my paranoia of identity theft.

...

pms2007 says "This type of hair coloring turned my long hair to straw and I re" about Clairol Nice and Easy

I am a retired beautician and I color my hair at home. I have some grey in my long natural brunette colored hair. I usually use 2 boxes of Hydrience by Clarol but I couldn't find the red color I wanted. Two boxes of Nice and Easy by Clarol turned my hair to straw every time I washed my hair. I really needed to use the conditioner they give you. I had a little breakage along my part . I have also been losing more hair than usual when I wash it, I will never use Nice and Easy again. Hydrience made my hair a beautiful shade of auburn and the color lasted longer.
...

pms2007 says "Great for low fat diets and your health" about George Foreman Grill - Indoor GRP4P

I have now bought my 4th George Foreman Grill. This one has 64 square inches of cooking space for the three of us. I paid $29.99 at JCPenney for it. I bought a small one for our son when he went to college. My first one, we used so much the no-stick coating started to come off. The second one was also used so much, againe the coating came offf. The third one was my favorite, also used alot until my husband dropped it and it went to pieces. My son had to leave his behind at school for lack of suitcase space. We got startwd with the grill when my husband had a heart attack and had to drastically change his eating habits. I was also looking for a fast but heathler way to cook. The fat rolls off pork chops, BBQ meats, hamburgers, etc. Dinner can be ready in minutes if you have a microwave for veggies or other items. My George, as we call it, has a topper on it for heating bread and rolls. I love it! Couldn't beat the price.
...
