pkblue63 says "Very healthy AND tastes good" about Ensure Creamy Milk Chocolate Shake

I haven't been really sick for more than twenty years but this year I neglected to get a flu shot and developed a serious strain of flu that had me flat on my back with no appetite and I was rapidily dehydrating. After I spent a few days in the hospital to be pumped full of fluids to help with the dehydration, I was still unable to eat. My doctor said that I needed to get some kind of nourishment into my body and he recommended Ensure Plus Protein. That is about all I could consume for a few weeks while I slowly introduced solid foods back into my body. Even now that I am almost 100%, I still have Ensure daily to make sure I have the nutrients it offers that I don't get in the foods I regularly eat. It tastes great and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a boost in giving their body a little extra help in keeping healthy....

pkblue63 says "Best Oatmeal Ever" about Quaker Old Fashioned Quaker Oats

I grew up on Quaker Oats and still remember when my Mother used to fix it over an old wooburning stove. Fortunately, it's much easier to fix these days and the taste is still just as great as ever and is still good for you. I have it at least 3 times a week and my daughter has followed in my footsteps. The store brand is cheaper and I have tried it, out of curiosity, but it just isn't the same as Quaker, so I know that's the one I will always stick with. It has plenty of fiber and fills you up and you decide just how much sugar (if any) you want to add, not the way the processed packages are done for you with the sugar already added as well as flavoring....

pkblue63 says "Just Oatmeal" about Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal

I have always liked Quaker Oatmeal and decided to give the Weight Control a try. I didn't find anything wrong with the taste, but once again, it's a processed food which we all know has many questionable ingredients that aren't really good for you. I will stick to the 1-minute Quaker Oatmeal which is every bit as good with just a little brown sugar Splenda and milk and much better for me. It's just as easy to prepare and gives me the fiber I need and is very filling....

pkblue63 says "It does what you want from a toothbrush." about Oral-B Vitality Electric Toothbrush

For myself, I found the Oral B Vitality Electric Toothbrush was just what I wanted and needed in a toothbrush. It cleaned throughly as it moved smoothly along my teeth. It even provided proper brushing techniques in case one had any doubts. It also had a timer to make you aware of when you should stop brushing as not to cause harm to the enamel on your teeth by excessive brushing. My teeth and gums actually did feel much cleaner than using my old standard -type toothbrush. It wasn't all that expensive because they had specials going on over a long period of time. A very good value for my money!...

pkblue63 says "Still sounding good, riding high" about Carrie Underwood - Carnival Ride

I have heard very few negative comments about Carrie Underwood's CD and I, for one, think it is great. It's somewhat different from some of her other music but it still shows her fantastic voice. The songs she sings on this CD don't have the same type messages as some of the others and I like it better. She still has that great set of pipes that took her through the Idol, coming out a winner and I don't think there's anything sing and she will go so much further in the music business over the years ahead.

...

pkblue63 says "Best way to get veggies, ever!" about Nabisco - Garden Harvest Toasted Chips - Vegetable Medley

I actually expected not to like the Vegetable Medley when I first picked it up, but I was pleasantly surprised. I looking for something crunchy to add to the type of routine eating I have become used to over the last couple of years and this does make a difference. I thought it couldn't possibly taste good because was supposed to be 1/2 serving of vegetables in each 1oz serving.

I find myself enjoying the Garden Harvest Vegetable Medley quite often and I don't have to feel guilty like I would if I indulged myself with chips, but they give me that same crunchy feeling as though I'm eating chips. They taste salty like chips but don't go overboard; they have their ingredients well listed on the back of the package. I am very much aware of what goes into the products that I purchase and I no longer overeat. Products such as this make it easier to do so.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to watch his or her weight and is missing out on chips or a cruchy snack they are used...
...
