pjwebee says "I wanted to climb into the movie....." about The Notebook

The best film I've seen in years. Not your usual sleazy hop in the sack sex film from Hollywood, but an actual story, with chracters you grow to love or hate. You surrender your emotions to them and enjoy the roller-coaster ride they put you on. You forget who you are for a little while and become an observer in their world. THIS is movie magic at it's best.
...

pjwebee says "A Must-See if you are in the area!" about Henry Vilas Zoo - Madison, WI

We live exactly halfway between Henry Vilas Zoo, and The Milwaukee Zoo. When we want to go ro a zoo, we almost always pick Henry Vilas. Of course being Free helps lot, but also, it's not so big that the kids get tired and crabby but big enough to have TONS of animals with great enclosures and viewing areas. We love the park like atmosphere in and around the zoo and the fact that it's close to downtown and other attractions in Madison is a plus too. Come see it, and you'll fall in love too.
...

pjwebee says "Great music and sturdily built." about LeapFrog Baby Counting Pal

We actually got this toy second hand and I was sure my grandson wouldn't like it, and he didn't,......he LOVED it! As a baby he liked the soothing melodies and as he got older he likes the pictures and numbers and the different textures. It's nice to have a toy that grows with a child. The sound is great, and there are options on how it plays too! We bought one for our nephew so they wouldn't fight over the one we had....

pjwebee says "waste of money" about Playskool Busy Ball Popper

Playskool makes great toys, but for us, this was not one of them. The fan is very noisy. It is also a little too powerful. The balls end up blowing way past the toy and scattering around the room instead of falling onto the ramp. It is also very light weight, which could be a plus, but considering it is suggested for younger babies, our child just knocked it over a lot, spilling the balls all over, so someone usually had to keep a hand on it. Since many balls didn't get down the ramp, our child never really noticed the nice see-through ramp that was built in. He had more fun watching us running around the room chasing the balls, than from the toy itself. I suggest you pass on this. ...
