pjgriff says "The perfect movie treat" about Junior Mints

Junior Mints have been around forever and I wouldn't even think of going to a movie without my box of Junior Mints. They are the perfect refreshing treat to have after finishing that box of popcorn. Yes, it's hard to eat just one, or two, or three or more! I have to bring a small box, or part of a large box, or I will just eat the whole box if that's what I have. I sometimes even let my husband have a few, but not too many! There is just nothing else like a Junior Mint to satisfy my sweet tooth without going overboard.
...

pjgriff says "Great product, but make sure to read the directions!" about Mr Clean Magic Eraser, Extra Power

I first heard of these by getting a sample on the internet. So, I open it up and immediately started scrubbing some black marks on the wall. Well, it sorta took off the paint. I thought, what the heck! Well, then I looked at the directions and it said to wet the sponge! Gees, I felt sooo stupid. At least I only did a few small walls in the entryway (still haven't repainted it!). But, once I started using the sponges wet, I found out they work great, especially for greasy stoves and countertops.

You do not want to use these on vintage painted tins, it will take the paint off! Other than that, I haven't damaged anything with them. If you are cleaning something really dirty, they do not last long, but I am a bargain shopper and buy them on sale, so it's not so bad. They are rather expensive at full price though.
...

pjgriff says "Love the windows in the front!" about Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer

I bought this set when my 25 year old Hotpoint washer finally gave out. It was a great machine, but had run it's course. I found out that Hotpoints are not made like they used to be, so sad. So I checked into front loaders because of all the hype about saving water and besides, they are cute and a bit retro with the round windows in the front. I bought this set because Consumer Reports rated it #1.

I love my set, only have a couple of disappointments. I had heard that when I wash a load of jeans, that the legs would not get twisted together like in a top loader, but that isn't true, they still come out twisted. Also, I didn't realize that the "soak" mode only works with warm water. What's with that? If you need to soak greasy, grimy clothes, you need hot water. So, I do wish I had checked on that, it's just something you don't think of checking for. But, otherwise I love how the clothes come out of the washer with MUCH less water in the clothes so they dry much faster. ...
...

pjgriff says "I'm amazed that a hand held sealer actually works!" about Reynolds Handi-Vac Handheld Vacuum Sealer

I have a large sealer that I just bought 2 months ago, so I thought I did not need to buy a hand held sealer. But I got to thinking, this would be handy for items that I open up alot, like cheese. When I seal cheese with my large sealer, I have to cut the bag open everytime I use some of it, then the bag gets too small to use after I have opened it twice. With the new handi sealer, I can keep sealing the cheese in the same bag until it's gone. Now, that's what I like, being able to reuse the bag! I just love this hand sealer and it's easier to get out of the drawer. The large sealer I have to dig out of the cupboard.
...

pjgriff says "I can't believe it, this really works!" about Presto Pizzazz Pizza Oven Model 03430

I bought my Presto Pizza Pizzazz about 1 1/2 years ago. I debated about it and checked some websites to see what other people thought about it. It got positive reviews so I bought one. I am so glad I did! This works great, on frozen, half-baked, or homemade pizza (my favorite!). I mainly bought it so I didn't have to heat up my kitchen in the summer to make pizza but I love it so much I use it all the time. Takes less time to make pizza since you don't have wait to heat up the oven to 425 degrees. I found out that when I made homemade pizza, it did not get the bottom crust as brown as I like it. So, I bake it for 6 minutes on just the bottom setting, then 12 minutes on both top/bottom setting and it comes out perfect! The negative thing I can say is that it takes a bit of maneuvering to get the pan in the perfect place to start it rotating, but with a bit of practice, it gets easier!...
