petron12 says "Good value for the price" about Comfort Inn Butler - Butler, PA

I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Butler last summer for two nights. I found the hotel very clean. The room was spacious for a hotel of that level. Everything in the room worked and was in good condition. One disappointment was that the soda machines were virtually empty. The breakfast was wonderful, anything you could ask for was available. Complimentary newspapers. The desk clerk left something to be desired, not much customer service skill but overall competent at his job. I would stay there again if in the area. There were plenty of restaurants just a mile or two down the road. Not too far from the interstate. ...

petron12 says "Smooths your skin out " about Avon MagiX Face Perfector SPF 20

Avon Magix Face Perfector is a product I use every day. It works really great with Avon's Mineral foundation. It is a gel that dries like powder and make your skin very smooth. It doesn't cover up anything, and you still would have to wear concealer and foundation. But it makes the rest of the layers glide on like silk, so you don't have to use as much foundation as you normally would. I would recommend this product for anyone with rough skin, dry skin, acne, or any face imperfections that cause rough patches. One drawback is that it does have a kind of a weird smell, so if you are sensitive to smells you might want to pass. ...

petron12 says "A little weight loss but not much help for the headache" about Topamax

I was on Topamax for a few months during the first round and then again for about a week. During the first few months, I continued to experience tension headaches on an almost daily basis. However, I did not gain one single ounce of weight during the entire time, which was a major plus. I experiened some tingling in my fingertips. The most unpleasant side effect was the fact that it made soda taste flat. Being a confirmed caffeine addict, it was worse for me than the tingling. Since it didn't have much effect on my headaches, my neurologist took me off of the Topamax and we tried something new. Months later I tried Topamax again but the tingling was so bad I stopped taking it after a week. ...

petron12 says "Good for a quick fix- not a long term solution" about The Slimfast Diet

I like the SlimFast meal bars as a quick on the go meal when I am not particulary hungry, or don't have time to microwave a diet meal. I prefer the chocolate chip cookie dough meal bar. I think it is easy to eat, not too fake tasting. It does leave me full and not looking for anything else to eat for at least two hours or so. It does leave a kind of waxy aftertaste but what can you expect from fake chocolate? I don't think anyone could follow the plan of eating two a day for very long though. It just is not very realistic to expect someone to give up their breakfast and lunch every day for one measly five inch long fake chocolate bar. That said, I probably will continue to purchase about a box a month for quick lunches to try to keep me somewhat on track. ...

petron12 says "Best 400 bucks I've spent" about Eden Pure Quartz Infrared Portable Heater

The Eden Pure heater is great. We bought to defray energy costs in our drafty old house. It worked best in October/November when we barely had to turn the heat on. It would warm the entire living room up in ten minutes and last for hours. Our energy bill went up about twenty bucks a month but we have saved probably fifty on top of that each month so far this winter. I highly recomment this to anyone looking to save a few bucks, it pays for itself and then some in a few months. It also has a three year factory warranty. I don't anticipate having to use it, since we have had for months now and have not had any problems. You just wheel it where you want it, plug it in, and go. It comes with a remote control as well so you don't even have to get up and change the heat level. ...
