perkymerk says "when your Aveda days are over" about Head & Shoulders Refresh 2-in-1 with Natural Mint

i remember when i could afford the aveda rosemary mint shampoo, and how i loved that tingly sensation like my head was steaming after i got out of the shower. this product is the next best thing. i will not try the generic wal-mart version since i spilled some when i used to stock there and that stuff stained the floor. but this is nice. i have the 2-in-1, plus i use a very heavy conditioner on top of that, so of course my hair feels a bit waxy afterwards, but i live in a very dry, cold region and it's necessary.

good stuff.
...

perkymerk says "no frills staple" about Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Bar 3.5 oz.

i'm a bit high maintenance, so i actually wish this product was a bit fancier and complicated, but its simplicity is actually why it works so well. takes off makeup and dirt---i still follow up with an astrigent to feel completely clean, but it's still good stuff....

perkymerk says "fabulous" about Cover Girl Advanced Radiance Age Defying Liquid Makeup

spendy for drugstore brand---can't afford it right now, but seriously---it's awesome...looks natural, improves your skin tone, texture...i'd love to try the concealer, too, but my walmart doesn't carry it and i'm so very poor. i switched to rimmel's anti-aging, which is okay, but their shades are so limited. i'll probably start mixing it with the remnants of my covergirl stuff. anyways, it is the best foundation i've bought in a drugstore. so yay....

perkymerk says "better than nothing" about Effexor

i'm 2 months sober as i write this. things are going okay and my therapist has me on 150 mg of effexor with 30 mg propranalol. i have had some suicidal thoughts in the last 2 weeks, but i don't know how much of that is situational. without these meds, therapy, and AA, i'd probably have died by my own hand by now.

i hope all of you who are suffering right now receive the help you need.
...

perkymerk says "a bloodsucking monopoly that has very NEGATIVELY impacted us" about Charter Communications

I don't know where to begin. Charter is the only cable service provider in our area, and while TV and internet are not necessities, they certainly make life more bearable. We signed up to bundle our services--phone, internet, and extended cable for $60 a month. Great deal, right? Too good to be true. The serviceman who showed up to install it wasn't wearing a uniform or name badge and showed up in his own vehicle. When I asked him to show some identification, he acted like I was a moron for asking, then unzipped his sweatshirt and showed me the Charter logo on his shirt underneath. For 4 days afterward, our phone service got worse and worse, till on the 4th day we had none. Their live chat is useless--I told them I wasn't even picking up a dial tone, and they told me to dial their 800 number. With what, I don't have a cellphone! The livechat support guy told me to go to a local business and use a payphone. And of course, later that weekend there was an emergency...
...
