peonsjf says "First Time Cruise" about Carnival Cruise Lines - Conquest cozumel, grand caymen and jamaica

This was my husbands and my first cruise and boy did we enjoy it! This was a very nice ship and very clean and well organized. Our room was clean, organized and surprisingly we didn't feel it to be as small as some people said it would be. The service was great not only in our room but at the buffet and dinner table too! There was an open buffet available all the time, in addition to scheduled times for our seat down formal dinner meals. The ship is beautiful, with plenty of shops, slots machines, swimming pools and other activities available. We throughly enjoyed each nights show in the large auditorium. There were 2 shows each night therefore the seating was plentiful. There were plenty of land trips available in each port stop. Although we figured out that you could save dollars by getting the land trips reserved online prior to taking the trip. We enjoyed our trip and we're already planning our...

peonsjf says "Pricy but WORTH it" about Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Baby Bottle

Our baby was colicky, gasy and cried constantly because of it. My lactation specialist suggested using Dr. Brown's bottles and zap the problems disappeared. I love these bottles because of that BUT they are harder to clean and keep clean. There are many parts to the bottle but here again if you don't mind cleaning the parts these bottles are a blessing. Once our little guy got to be about 6 months old and more developed he wasn't as fussy and we ventured on to an easier bottle to keep clean (see the Avent review I did). I would suggest Dr. Brown's if you have a gasy, colicky...

peonsjf says "Super value for the product!" about Britax Roundabout Car Seat

We bought this seat when my grandson outgrew his infant safety seat. I had researched online for seats and the Britax company name kept coming up with some of the best reviews. We went to BabiesRus and checked out the convertable seats and we agreed with all the reviews! This seat is comfortable, safe, easy to take care of, looks good and best of all EASY to install with both latch and seatbeat. My grandson never cried when he was strapped in and usually fell asleep within moments of taking him anywhere. The easy installation though was the kicker for us buying this seat. We took the seat to a Certified installer and she showed up how to install the seat correctly with both latch and seatbelt. Once you install it right a few times it is easy to do. You get a tight fit each and everytime you install if you know how to do it correctly. This seat is also very easy to keep clean. I wouldn't own any other brand of...

peonsjf says "The best carseat for the value." about Britax Marathon Car Seat

This is the best seat on the market! When it comes to safety you can't beat this seat or for that matter any seat that Britax makes. We have 2 Marathons and had a Roundabout until we outgrew that it. The Marathon is so well made and VERY easy to install if you take your time to learn how to install it. We took ours to a Certified installer and she taught us the correct way to install the seat. Once you learn to do it correctly it only takes a moment to install it correctly. This seat is also the best seat for growth. Your child can probably make it to the 65 lb limit unless you have an extremely tall child. If you are safety conscience and love quality you will love this seat...

peonsjf says "Great bottles especially for older babies." about Avent Baby Bottles

I loved these bottles. I thought the wide mouth made it easy to clean and easy to fill with powder and water. My grandson loved them as an older baby (we started using them when he was 6 months old) and wouldn't use any other bottle except Dr Brown. We did notice that when the nipples got older they would leak no matter how much we tried to put them on correctly. But we just threw the nipple away and used a new one. You really shouldn't use an old nipple anyway! I loved that the bottle could be converted with a handle also when our little guy got older. These bottles are...
