penn says "feels fresh as well as clean" about Garnier Nutritioniste Nutri Pure Detoxifying Wet Cleansing Towelettes Oil Free 25 Each

Garnier Nutritioniste Nutri Pure Detoxifying Wet Cleansing Towelettes are great. I've used many different kinds of cleansing towlettes, and these are now my favourite. Many other towelettes feel too thick for cleaning all parts of your face, but these are thin and very flexible whilst being strong enough for vigorous cleaning. Some towlettes feel too thick with cleansing product, even leaving it on skin. The garnier ones feel damp but in a refreshing way, so face feels pleasantly clean and fresh. I've also found them perfect for freshening up when travelling, sometimes even my husband will use one, as they really do leave you feeling more awake and ready to face deplaning etc :)
...

penn says "quick surface clean, feel bit soapy" about Unilever Ponds Clean Sweep Cleansing and Make Up Removing Towelettes, 135 Ct Container with Chamomile, Vitamin E and Triple Tea

I've used these Ponds Clean Sweep towelettes for quite a while and whilst they're convenient I've switched to another brand. I really like their portability and ease of use, especially when flying as they really make you feel fresh and more awake. However my main complaint has been that they can feel a bit too soapy for me. I hate using soap on my face, as it gets too tight, so its a big turn off. Also I have found that whilst they are good for a quick freshen up, they really don't come close to cleaning well enough at night. If you've got any longlasting mascara on, these aint gonna shift it. I always follow up with another cleaner to get deep down clean if I had any make up on at all, so these really aren't good enough on their own.
...

penn says "good to have on hand" about The Slimfast Diet

I know slimfast is marketed as a diet tool but I actually find it a versatile backup to have in the fridge. I take a lot of pills and are not supposed to take them on an empty stomach. So when I don't feel like cooking dinner I'll grab a can and that lines my stomach enough.

For women with morning sickness, a friend found the cans really helpful to have around. Not only could she sip a little at a time, if she was sick again, well it's just liquid so its not too bad. I've used it when I've been ill and can't face anything solid either but it does pep me up a bit. I use the rich chocolate flavor ones as its a bit like chocolate milk and not medicinal at all. Just make sure its thoroughly chilled, and shaken
...

penn says "hidden gem, DO search it out" about Orchard Market & Cae - Towson, MD

During dreadful trip to towson accidentally came across the orchard market and cafe, which almost made the rest of trip worth it. It turned up on gmap as indian, but its actually a persian restaurant, which is much more delicate and light flavours.

Its a modern space, with pieces of persian art and textiles to add to the atmosphere. The staff were fantastic, never seemed bored explaining specials and rest of menus when required, and had eyes in the back of their heads the speed with which they spotted empty glasses or confused looks. Everything on the menu, and othersplates, looked fantastic, subtle spices, lots of fruit and the meat was sensational in taste and texture. Try to squeeze in a desert, or share one, as they are so light yet such intense flavors.

Its byob, with patrons ranging from a couple with 8 year old, another with 2 students, to some business men, and quite a few romantic couples or foursomes, with many people seeming to have been there before, adding to the relaxed...
...

penn says "worst bond film ever - even roger moores ones" about Quantum of Solace

My husband is a total bond nut, heaven being a weekend of bond marathons. Been waiting for this to come out on dvd - fortunately we rented it first because it is DREADFUL!!! Sure it starts out with high speed chases, lots of thrills and spills, but was all so obvious, seen it all before etc. The actual plot? was there one? tried to be too clever and twisted, and expected you to remember key stuff from previous film. Even my husband got fed up halfway through. Another major problem was lack of humour, lack of references to previous bond genre, which is a key ingredient in a bond film.
...

penn says "Turbo tax makes me want to see an accountatn" about TurboTax 2008 Deluxe Tax Preparation Software

TurboTax 2008 Deluxe Tax Preparation Software is a pain in the neck. Our taxes aren't that complicated, I'm tech and financially savvy, so why did I spend more time yelling at the computer than entering data??? It does start of gently helping you go through first steps of process. The help system sucks tho and I was frequently confused as to what the help response was actualling referring to. There's way too many phrases and questions that the software doesnt help you with, which was one of the reasons I'd bought this for.

Whilst touting efiling as way to go, it wasn't until I submitted it that I was told that I wasn't eligible for efiling, but not before they'd charged me for it. So back to mailing it in and not holding my breath.
...

Recently got a bosch nexus 800 washer and dryer, after having small whirpool stacker. Have to work on getting enough same load to fill drum, but I'm sure anyone with kids would reallly appreciate the size of the drum. Highly recommend getting the pedestals, not only to reduce bending and lost socks, but also huge drawers to store everything you need for laundry. Really glad I've got them, highly efficient and quiet
...

Toshiba Satellite P205D-S8802 Laptop is great for watching movies, it has a really large screen, with great high quality, so you can quickly forget you're watching on a laptop not a tv. One slight hitch is the fan blows hot air out the left hand side, and as it gets quite hit, you have to be careful as to where you place it....

high cost for no contract for low occasional use, near impossible to get back any credit build up from having to top up $20 every 90 days to keep service. phones all seem to lack decent battery life. website is full of gizmos which make it really hard to find any actual useful information...

penn says "best european dining in town, with relaxed welcoming atmosphere" about Herwigs - State College, PA

Best local restaurant in State College. Fanastic food and great relaxed friendly atmosphere, small personal staff, mainly family, are always ready to help and explain, and give regulars grief :) Established for years, now in new central college location, medium sized airy bistro style restaurant, menu now written on wall in austrian and english. Food is still amazing, familiar austrian home cooking favourites, lots of sauerkraut optional, with new dishes tried regularly. All produce and meat is sourced locally, of highest quality, so menu changes daily to reflect availability and what the team feel like cooking. A global gourmet, I am so happy I live near here.

Portions still huge so come hungry, in house desserts are totally to die for, don't plan on doing much after lunch here. Does dinner as well, byob. New innovations are panninis, soup etc, for noncarnivores, or people who like the atmosphere but can't eat a full portion. If you love a particular dish they can call you on days they're......

we'd joked about getting one off and on, but I felt it was way too indulgent - no matter how much I hate hoovering - and I do!!

My husband found a link to their new floor washing machines, no idea about them, but it led him to irobot website where he discovered you can get a refurbished one extremely cheaply, fully warranted. Mine only has a few minor scratches, has the new upgraded battery, and works wonderfully. Now if only it would do stairs!!

Take the time to read thin instruction book, as does have useful hints on uses...
