The Sears/Kenmore dishwasher was installed in our kitchen at least 10 years ago. We have had very little trouble with it. It has a few cycles but I find that running it on 'short' cycle does a good job even when it is quite full. There are four adults living here and we are still able to run it every other day. The only problem might be that the silverware is not always completely dry. However, I can live with that rather spend much more money for a new dishwasher with all the bells and whistles which in my mind are just more parts to need attention! I'm quite happy with the simple things in life and find no need to buy the latest in appliances or home decorating. Also, being a senior citizen I find the simpler items take up less space and seniors are usually downsizing rather then getting into larger living quarters. This dishwasher will satisfy our needs probably as long as we live! The other two adults here are grown sons and I hope that they will find...

I purchased two Black and Decker spray/steam self cleaning irons at the same time. One was for use at home and one for use at my Church. I have been very happy with my choice at home. It has done an excellent job every time I've needed it. At Church, there were a couple of very expensive (3 figures) irons which we always had trouble with. Either one would not heat up at all or take forever, one leaked, one was very difficult to fill with water. My inexpensive Black and Decker quickly became the iron of choice! The cord seems longer then some, which is quite handy and turning itself off has saved me from high electric bills more then once. It is light weight and makes an otherwise somewhat unpleasant task quicker and easier to finish. Even my grown son who lives at home has no problem ironing his work shirt every morning. This Black and Decker iron is proof that sometimes you get more value then you pay for!

Netflix makes having movies of our choice available almost every night as easy as opening the mail. The choices on line are so far limitless. Not being fans of reality tv, our evening viewing is limited. My husband and I really love movies and our taste is quite varied. I find unlimited choices in drama, docu-drama, documentaries, comedies, biographies, classics, foreign films, etc. I have chosen a few whoppers which we just put back in their sleeve and back in the mailbox quickly and don't mention them, but 98% of the time my choices suit both of us and we are able to suggest movies to our friends as well. Netflix is so convenient and the choices are all OURS. We have cable tv with the dvr feature, but often couldn't find anything to our liking in their lists. The prices are not competitive with Netflix at all, either. We find Netflix to be the perfect way for us to have a movie available to enjoy at our convenience. Trying VO5 Extra Body Shampoo and Conditioner was the best thing I did for my hair in a long time. I have very fine, thinning hair and have tried many 'volumizing' shampoos to add body and lift to my hair style. One hairdresser described my hair as corn silk, and all hairdressers have had trouble working with my hair! VO5 Extra Body shampoo really does volumize and add extra body to my hair. I also use VO5 Extra Body conditioner. Both products are often available for $0.99 each, compared to the highly advertised products I use to pay $13.00 and more for in a lesser amount. I stock up often with VO5 Extra Body products and hope they will be around for a long time. It is such a joy to be able to 'do' my hair in 15 minutes, be happy and satisfied with the result, and save quite a bit of money at the same time!
