pattibeto says "Good price, good product" about Paul Mitchell Hydrating shampoo and conditioner

Ever since I went to college I had been having issues with dandruff. First I thought it was the water. Then I thought that it could be my diet. Finally I realized that it was probably just the cheap shampoo I was using. Normally I always used Joico and Redken with decent results, but after moving to college I just went with a cheaper brand. After this dandruff and dry hair began to bother me, I went home and found a set of the Paul Mitchell hydrating strengthening shampoo and conditioner combo for twenty-six dollars. So I went ahead and bought it and it made the long trip back to san diego. I have not had any dandruff or dry scalp issues since then. It is amazing but honestly the type of shampoo you use really does make a difference. I used to think that it was just in people's heads but after this experience I am going to stick to quality shampoos because to me, looking good is worth the extra 8 dollars.
...

pattibeto says "Keeps mild acne at bay!" about oxy maximum on the spot acne treatment

I feel fortunate that my face has never needed too much care. My acne is pretty mild, with occasional big ugly whiteheads, but primarily small bumps on my forehead. My skin is not too oily but more oily than dry. I discovered oxy when I was in eighth grade. I found it at rite-aid with my mom, back when they still used a little white bottle for it. All I do is leave a thick layer on my forehead, nose, and any pimples I have a few minutes before I go to bed. I let it air-dry on my face and harden. Then I go to bed with it on. In the morning I make sure to wash my face, either with only water or with facewash, depending on how much oil is on my face. This product has kept my acne free ever since I was 12. When I don't take care of my face acne resurfaces. I do not follow the instructions and this at home remedy has worked amazing for me. But spend the extra dollar and do not buy the generic brand because it WILL dry out your skin!
...

pattibeto says "Best 19.99 I've spent in while" about Cooks Essentials QVC Cooks Pink Toaster Oven 9" (Jcpennys)

I am a college student so when I buy any kind of appliance I look for 3 things: Low cost, long-lasting, and useful. This adorable little pink toaster oven is all those things and much much more. I found this toaster oven before I started college in the summer of 2007. I saw it on the JCpennys website for 19.99. I debated between this and a hello kitty toaster I found on amazon. Two years later, I couldn't be happier that I bought this. Not only has this lasted the past two years, but it is conveniently compact AND available in many cute colors. This is the perfect size for my lifestyle and it is a very sturdy product. I can do things from toast my bagels to bake cookies with this thing. (Though unless you have a small pan I don't really recommend baking with it. Honestly this little toaster oven is cute, affordable, and amazing quality. I love everything about it and hope that it lasts at least another two years.
...

pattibeto says "Not the stereotypical college experience" about University of California-San Diego

Oh UCSD. To start off with, if you're looking for the movie "college experience" UCSD is not the place to find it. While most students complain about the seemingly socially dead campus, there are actually some fun things to do at UCSD. The party scene definitely exists for those brave enough to seek it out. At UCSD we have a lot of students who lack the social skills to find it. While you do not have to be greek to have a good time, it definitely helps to pay the 900 dollars a year to have an abundant flow of social activities to part take it. If you think that this sounds like what you see in the movies, here is the primary difference-almost everyone is ridiculously smart. Why? well if the incoming class statistics are right, at this school we have the top students from every high school in California. That means that the kids with the huge backpacks who stay after school for fun and do extra credit when they already have 100% in the class all go here ( UC's primarily look...
...

pattibeto says "Rewards not worth the interest rate" about Chase - Amazon

The Amazon visa card has some cool rewards, but the amount of points that it takes to get to those rewards is rather high. While they lure you in with the 25 dollar discount on your first purchase, and generate use with the double points for the first 60 days, after that the card loses its advantages. Once you no longer are receiving double points for your purchases, the rewards rate is slow, for most things a point per dollar, and the rewards start at two thousand five hundred points. If you like to shop on amazon a lot then it is definitely more beneficial because you earn more points and earning amazon rewards is a little easier too. The interest rate at almost fourteen percent is definitely on the high side compared to most my other credit cards, and they do not have any promotional APR rates like many credit cards do nowadays. So again in conclusion, if you shop on amazon a lot, then this card benefits you, but if you're like me then that 25 dollar off discount is not worth...
...
