I bought my first one in 1977 and it performed well for over 10 years. So well that when I needed a new one, there was no hesitation, I bought a new Rainbow. I am now using my third and will definitely buy another if this one ever wears out. There is no comparison to the cleaning ability and air cleansing features of the Rainbow....
