p3epilog says "Never had any problems with them" about 1-800-Flowers.com

I've ordered flowers at least twice from 1-800-Flowers, and can't say that I've had any problems with them. They have always delivered on time, to the extent that they can. By that, I mean that the flowers were brought by UPS (or whomever) on the right day, even if they were then left at the front door in the sun - that's a UPS (or whomever) problem, not a 1-800-Flowers problem, in my opinion. — The flowers themselves have always pleased my wife, and she has had no trouble caring for them. They've actually lasted a good bit longer than flowers I've purchased over the counter from a local florist. — I would recommend 1-800-Flowers, based on my experiences with them. —...

p3epilog says "Easy install, happy with the results" about DICE Electronics - i-VW-R iPod Interface Kit

I purchased the i-VW-R unit to integrate my 30GB Video iPod with my 2003 Volkswagen Passat factory stereo. I had done a fair amount of research before deciding on the DICE unit, so I was fairly confident that it would do what I wanted. Installing it involved going to the company's website to get a vehicle-specific installation addendum, which was no problem. The trickiest part of installing it was not in any way a problem with the DICE unit but rather with the factory VW head unit. Special "keys" are required to remove the stereo, and the directions for using them are clear as to how to insert them. However, nothing is included about how to REMOVE the keys. There is plenty of information warning about how improper use of the keys can permanently damage the radio, so I was a bit surprised that there was nothing about taking the keys out. Once everything was in place and the stereo was fired up, I had access to my iPod just as...

p3epilog says "Great for my needs" about Sony PlayStation - 2 Console

It's not the latest and greatest, but it is a classic. The Sony PS2 can be had for a good price most places now that the PS3 and other "next-generation" gaming consoles are out. There are tons and tons of games for it, both new and used, and "cheat codes" are pretty much free (if you're into that aspect of the gaming experience). I am a very casual gamer, and only play a few games, but the PS2 is more than sufficient for the amount of time I waste playing it. The graphics are good enough, though not "cutting edge" like the newer units (PS3, Xbox360, etc.). Personally, I don't want the game to look completely life-like. It's close enough as it...

p3epilog says "Service with smile, not to mention delicious food!" about New Yorker Pizza & Pasta - Arlington, TX

New Yorker Pizza and Pasta is a great little Italian restaurant located in the OfficeMax shopping center at Road to Six Flags and Collins in north Arlington. Every time we've been there, they have been very friendly and the food has been delicious. They offer a variety of pasta dishes and pizzas, calzones, strombolis, and "rolls" (chicken, pepperoni, or sausage) that are all very reasonably priced and made from scratch. Pasta portions are large, so many could get by with just a kids' portion. They offer take-out, and may do delivery, but we've never tried either...

p3epilog says "If it ever scratches, they'll replace it!" about Zagg / ShieldZone - InvisibleShield

The InvisibleShield is made and sold by ZAGG, which used to be ShieldZone, at http://www.ShieldZone.com. It is a thin plastic-like screen protector that is available in pretty much any size. There are pre-made versions to fit a myriad of electronic devices, or you can have them make a custom size. I've got one on my: —...

p3epilog says "Good multi-purpose handheld GPSr" about Garmin - Map Handheld GPS System

I've had a few GPS receivers, and this is the best one yet for my purposes. Yes, there are better units dedicated to driving, and better units dedicated to "backcountry" use, but this is an excellent combination. I wanted a GPSr that I could use while driving, but that I could also carry in the field while geocaching or hiking. Another requirement I had when shopping was that the unit had to keep track of where I had been. That is something that very few (if any) of the dedicated vehicle units offer. Add in the built-in support for geocache tracking, and this was just about a perfect unit for me. I would suggest buying the add-on Automotive package, which includes a vehicle mount, DC charging cable, and MapSource software - essential if you want to use this in a...

p3epilog says "Canon quality and features you'd expect in a more expensive unit" about Canon - Digital Rebel XT / EOS 350D, 18-55mm Lens Digital Camera

I've had a Canon Digital Rebel XT for almost 2 years now, and I love it! My previous camera had an unbearably long start-up time, and the Rebel has virtually none. That's important to me, since a lot of my photos are of a toddler. In the time the old camera took to "get ready," the action I wanted to capture was over. I don't have that problem with the Rebel XT. Turn it on and it's ready to shoot. I'm an advanced amateur photographer, so I like the amount of control I have over the settings for each picture - shutter speed priority, aperture priority, full manual, program modes. My wife, on the other hand, prefers the fully automatic "Green Zone" mode. This camera suits both of us. I have been a Rebel owner (various models) since 1991, and have always been pleased with the feature set on their cameras. The pictures from this digital model are outstanding. And with Compact Flash cards becoming increasingly cheaper, the fact that it ships without one (or with a small one) isn't really...
