ourhappyfamily4 says "looks real nice, but its Sticks BAD!" about Wolfgang Puck 12" Covered Try Me Saute Pan

We bought this wolfgang puck 12" covered pan at Marshalls. I had never tried any pans from this line, but have heard of them, and thought wow.. I was going to be able to get a Wonderfull pan even on my tight budget. I haven't been pleased with it, I wish i had of tried one of the other pans that I had found that day. The pan is a heavy weight pan, which made me think this is going to be a "good" pan, and it also came with a glass covered lid which added to the nice look of the pan. I am glad that it has a second handle, because you have to have it to lift the pan when using it. But you also have to have a pot holder to even take the lid off of the pan while using it because it gets VERY hot! I have cooked hamburgers, sausage, and bacon in it with out much trouble. But if you batter your pork chops with milk, eggs, and flour and want to fry them in this pan, just give up, it wont work. It will all stick, and you'll end up with pork chops with NO batter, and then pan is a pain...
...

ourhappyfamily4 says "Worth every penny!" about Whirlpool Quiet Mister

I had had this whirlpool quiet miser window air conditioner for MANY MANY MANY years, and it is STILL doing a great job! even though the plus is a 110, don't let that fool you, it blows like a 220. it has a great feture also. it's a energy saver feature, you can put it on low, med, or quick energy saver, and it will blow untill it reaches a certain temp, and then it will shut off, untill it needs to come on again and keep it at that temp. We keep ours on quick ( which is like high), but it also has a knob to regulate how cool you want it, I have to turn that from high to med, so that it wont kick on as much, because it gets to cold! over the years that we have had it( probaly 12 years or so) after many times of moving, taking it in and out of windows, and such, the inside plastic has gotten broekn/lost so it no longer "looks" good, but it still does the job that it should. The only "bad" is that after so many years it seems like it sounds louder that it use to.. but thats it. So...
...

ourhappyfamily4 says "Would not buy again." about Yard Man by MTD yard man riding lawn mower

We bought this yard man riding lawn mower at walmart back a few years ago. I know the saying you get what you pay for ... BUTTTTT When you buy something that costs over one thousand dollars you expect to get something that will do a stand up job. Plus this line of mower is made by MTD, which i thought was a good mower, but i guess this is the generic version, and they dont mind to throw it off on people as such. I have to give it one plus, it does "look" good. it has the head lights , and a nice coushin seat, and the colors are brite. But i had rather have something that looks like crap and runs great then what we bought( something that looks good but that is put together like crap)

In the first 2 years we have had to already replace the battery.. Then replace the deck barrings which is not good what so ever. The whole deck needs to be replaced to tell the truth , because it sounds like it is about to fall off! it the worst sounding thing ever. We have had to replace the belt...
...

ourhappyfamily4 says "One of our favs" about GameCube - nintendo game cube

We bought the nintendo game cube system used, with about seven games for our 5 year old back last year for I think it was only like thirty dollars total. He has had it for a year now, and we have never had a problem with it at all.. He still plays it alot. The only complaint is that the games are hard to find. We have ben lucky to find a few games here and there at yard sales for ONLY a dollar each!!!! But for some reason even the pawn shops tend not to have any of these games. I guess either peole are hanging on to the games, because they still love to play them as our son does, or maybe because they were made so small they have gotten lots along the way under beds, and in toy boxes and such. But even with the games he has, alot of the times he wants to play the game cube instead of his playstation 2 so that should tell you a little something. We still have to get him a second controller( which we have found that game stop carries) because his younger sister is starting...
...

ourhappyfamily4 says "Small, but does a good job." about Roper roper dryer

After many years our old dryer went out. So we bought this roper dryer from lowes. It was the cheapest we could find anywhere. On the outside it looks like the small size as all dryers, but the drumm is smaller. it would be nice if it were larger, BUT for the money it does a good job. We have had it now for 3 years, and it gets the clothes dry every time i use it in one cycle. The only complaint is the lent trap. when you pull it out and clean it, you can still see lent down in the compartment, but you can't get it out by just pulling out the lent trap.
...
