There were 3 of us traveling with a group of 51 people. We were some of the first to pay for the cruise (paid in spring, cruise was October-November). We did not get our tickets and room location until 2 weeks before sailing date. We were placed in a room on bottom level while the rest of our group all had rooms on the 5th and 7th level. I immediately complained. The travel agent said nothing could be done and blamed it on Carnival. Carnival blamed it on the travel agent. When we got on the ship we complained and asked for a room near our traveling group. The person at the pursors desk said that there were no rooms available and that probably we were placed on the first floor because Carnival could not put 3 people in a room that was made to hold 4 people (2 single beds and 2 pull down bunks) because they would be losing the money that a fourth person would have paid.
